Why I consider the year 2000 to be the greatest year in WWE history. While WCW was burning, WWE / WWF reached its zenith as wrestling went mainstream thanks to The Rock, Triple H, Chris Jericho, Kurt Angle and so many others. Stone Cold Steve Austin even
returned at the end of the year, and WWE went on a run of their greatest ever pay per view events. The wrestling was great, the storylines were great, and the superstars themselves were better than ever in the year 2000.
