SAN FRANCISCO — The morning after he was named Super Bowl 50
MVP, and fresh off what he described as "a crazy night" of
celebrating, Broncos linebacker Von Miller looked ready to strap
    on the pads again.

"I was just talking to Coach (Gary) Kubiak, I was asking if you
could make the plane do backflips on the way home," Miller joked
Monday after officially receiving the MVP trophy from
    commissioner Roger Goodell.

On Tuesday, the Broncos will celebrate with their fans during a
    parade through downtown Denver.

"It's definitely going to be a magical week for us. I am looking
forward to spending time with my teammates going on tour," said
the linebacker, who set the tone for a punishing defense in the
Broncos' 24-10 victory over the Carolina Panthers.

Miller briefly talked about his future. He will soon become an
unrestricted free agent, and though there has been some talk
about a new contract, the Broncos are expected to stick a
    franchise tag on him.

"As far as my situation coming up, we have (general manager
John) Elway, and he has played in the National Football League,"
Miller said. "He is one of the best (GMs) there is. We're here
today because of him. I have people representing my situation as
well and it's going to be a peaceful thing. I am not really
    worried about it."

Miller expressed his love and gratitude toward the entire
Broncos team, and though he cradled the MVP trophy, he said it's
another piece of hardware he'll cherish most.

"The MVP is special, but the Super Bowl ring is something I'll
carry with me for life," Miller said.

Miller, the second overall selection in the 2011 draft out of
Texas A&M, became the 10th defensive player in Super Bowl
history to be selected as MVP. He was in the face of Panthers
quarterback Cam Newton all night. Miller had 2 ½ sacks, six
total tackles, two forced fumbles, two hurries and a pass
    defended.

The other three linebackers to be chosen Super Bowl MVP are
Chuck Howley of the Dallas Cowboys (Super Bowl V), Ray Lewis of
the Baltimore Ravens (Super Bowl XXXV) and Malcolm Smith of the
    Seattle Seahawks (Super Bowl XLVIII).

Kubiak said it isn't only the physical talents that have made
    Miller an NFL star.

"I've known Von since he was a very young man at Texas A&M,"
Kubiak said. "I'm so proud of his path and how he's gotten to
where he's at. The thing that people don't know is, you see a
great player like that play on a big stage and play a tremendous
game like he did, but people don't see the work he put in to get
    there.

"Von did not miss a football practice this year unless I sat him
down during training camp, make him take a rest day, he did not
miss a practice. I was telling his mom earlier today when we
were talking about him, he loves to play.

"His future is so bright. But, I'm just really proud of him as a
man. I know he's a great player, but I'm very proud of him as a
    man."

After the Broncos shut down Newton and the NFL's highest-scoring
offense, defensive coordinator Wade Phillips tweeted: "A little
Dab will do you but too much Dab will undo you!"

He was referring, of course, to Newton's famous end zone dance
    move, called "the dab."

When Kubiak was asked about the tweet Monday morning, Miller
nearly fell off his chair laughing.

Kubiak merely smiled and said: "(Phillips) gets carried away
    with that Twitter sometimes."
