    Lamont is a great guy. To this day he still works out every day. You might even catch him on one of his 4:00 am runs. He is a retired Des Moines firefighter and I am proud to call him a brother. He is a strong as an ox but as gentle as a kitten.

    Is he still in DSM ? I boxed in a gym on about East 4 and Court with a deaf coach named Ralph Brier in about 71-72, Baker Electric sponsored us. He was the man, tough as nails, but was good to me. What about his cousin, JC Wade ? Still around
