The latest Billiards Digest has a full page ad for a new product that attaches to the butt end of a pool cue. It's a vibration-dampeninglove it looking for a new one
device called the LimbSaver and is meant to change the hit and
performance characteristics of a pool cue. There's an endorsement by
Grady saying how he loves the result.
I wondered if anyone has tried it, or may have seen others testing it?
My first reaction would be that the cue ball would be long gone by the
time the impact vibration could travel to the butt end for the
device's modifying effect.
Apparently it has been applied to golf clubs, tennis racquets, archery
bows, etc., and made some of the respective users happy. It will be interesting to see if it does impress some pool players and improve
their performance. I also wonder if, applied somehow to Predator
*shafts* it might further enhance their already proven front end
physical effect.
