I have Johnny eight ball stick with two shafts, maple with 13MM rip and ash shaft with 11 MM tip for playing American snooker. IMO it’s the tip you have to get use to. I could play 8 and 9 ball with ash snooker shaft, it pin points the spot and get
lost of spin vs the maple 13MM shaft. That takes time to get use to on smaller table.
