Did anyone else notice that a magnificent Test match ended a couple of
days ago with a one run victory to New Zealand? This was superb cricket,
played in good spirit and with skill and application from both sides.
Thanks New Zealand and England. There should have been a third Test, but
    you can't have everything.

There's plenty of discussion of it on uk.sport.cricket

Sadly rec.sport.cricket seems pretty much moribund.

If there had been a 3rd I doubt Stokes would have been able to play in it.
It was a great match and a great advert for 5 day test cricket, but i cant really celebrate losing by 1 run when england had a 200 run lead on the
    3rd day!
