Little hatchet and diversionary piece from ESPN.

Between the lines = Not the NSW bowlers who lost the last Indian series, it
    was JL's "intensity".

YOU are good, very good. You managed to interpret the article to mean that.
Did you do it all by yourself or were you wearing your paranoia glasses.

BTW Are you claiming Queensland won the Thugby League game and are
demanding a 'Trump like' recount of the score?

    Nope. Just the facts maam.

Don't be silly Chuck. What I'm demanding is a recount of the Qld players.
Am sure we only had eleven on the field. Tops.

So, over to your tedious & infinitely silly game... Did the Haha Tahs go
0-13 this season? Or was it 0-12?

Well spotted Chucks! Now, what do you think that anonymity means?

That this story is not a work product of an actual reporter but is
their summary of reports they've read in the press, compiled by a
dogsbody in Mumbai or Bengaluru or wherever their HQ is.

Cricinfo consider reports of team coaches being under pressure as
journalistic gold. *Any* rumour that a "senior player" has said
something they can inflate to at least the serious discontent level by
standing on their heads and viewing the evidence in a dirty mirror
will get breathlessly reported. Unless they can come up with a juicy
scandal about a player, the mere fact of them being useless is beneath
their radar because it ain't good clickbait. Chris Silverwood has so
far been relatively unscathed, but after England's debacle against the
Kiwis and his recent appointment as overall supremo, coach, selector
and grand poobah, I'm expecting some very similar stories about him
well before July is out, quite likely next week.

Obviously they need to sample a wide range of reports to glean their highlights, so for Aus stories they presumable scan The Orstrylian,
The SMFH and the Telegraph and if they all say the same, that's what
they'll regard as a broad enough sample.

The net effect is what you describe, though the cause is
sensationalist laziness rather than deliberate bias.

    Cheers,

    Mike

Absolute disastrous season. I blame the NSV anything to take away from
the fact that they were shit
