There is the possibility of a new NCAA Women's fencing team
being created at San Jose State in the 1996-97 School year.
We ask that the local Bay Area fencing community show its
support for this possibility by attending the November 14th
meeting of the SJSU gender equities committee at the Simpkins
Stadium Center in San Jose. The Simpkins center is located
next to the Spartan Stadium on south seventh street, take the
seventh street exit off of 280 and head south about ten blocks
and it will be on your left. The committee will be in session
from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm. They will hear from the fencers
at about 8:00 pm.
This is a unique opportunity for the fencing community and
we should support it. Women's Fencing will be chosen if enough
community support is demonstrated by attendance at this
meeting.

I know this post is eleven years old but I'm contacting you today in hopes of getting some information about past SJSU fencing club members or a roster of past NCAA SJSU fencing athletes. I am currently the club treasurer with SJSU fencing club and I'm
