  • Black on black crime

    This breaks my heart, it really does. So many of the shootings I see on the news every night is black on black. Many innocent children, I hate to see the pain of these parents. A lot of it gangland and drug related, and innocent people getting caught
    in the crossfire.

    Not racist at all to recognize this, it is what it is, and very sad. What the mayors of these large cities need to do is get all these gangs together, and call a truce. Empower them , even pay them, to build instead of destroy. When you lead a gang,
    or run a drug business, that shows leadership skills. Redirect these leadership skills to do good. Sounds idealistic, but time to do somethng dramatically different. The situation is really getting out of hand.

    And time to finally admit that the war on drugs is a total failure. Maybe by design. Time to legalize all drugs across the board. Make clean needles available, give the drug users a safe place to indulge, instead of out in the streets. Take the
    money used for incarceration and enforcement, and use it for social workers, medical support services, and work/education opportunites. Try to uplift these people, the current scenario is a total failure.
