• Great golf tip

From Irving S@21:1/5 to All on Wed Jul 27 14:45:02 2022
Got my last lesson of a package today. Learned something really cool.

My head sometimes moves laterally to an extreme. My pro caught it on video. He is not against some head movement, but mine was excessive. Because of good hand and eye coordination, I could pull off good shots more of the time. but this was cited as a
    definite area I could improve.

The fix was real simple. He gave me a straw, told me to put it in my mouth, point it at the ball at address. And to the best of my ability, keep that straw pointed at the ball on the backswing through follow through. It felt awkward, and powerless.
but the numbers on Trackman told another story. My instructor told me that Hogan would often practice and play with a cigarette in his mouth, the reason was the same as the straw drill.

Went out afterwards, and played the best nine of my life. Not necessarily from a pure score standpoint, but from ball striking. Drives were good, but the long irons just blew me away.

    "Congratulations"

Wow, I am so flattered to get those accolades! Thank you Captain Combover!

Now you know what would really make my day Captain? How about taking some money out of the bank and counting for us. You did this twice, or have you forgotten? A repeat performance would be so appreciated.

My tip for keeping your eyes on the ball is to put a large bill down on the ground next to the ball (a twenty will do). I guarantee you won't turn your head!
