Nope, for that guidance is based on Omicron, which is known to “move faster”.

First detected case was in Northern California…not FL.

…and FL had dropped their mandates before Omicron was found

My wife and I both caught Covid (almost certainly Delta) last September shortly after school started. Gov DeSantis had killed off the remote school program and banned schools from enforcing mask mandates, making the schools pretty much ideal petri dishes
for spreading the pandemic far and wide. We're big fans of the scientific method at our house, so my wife and I were vaccinated and had mild symptoms. Our son also had mild symptoms, thank god.

I assume DeSantis wants to be President so badly doesn't care how many people he kills to get there. From that perspective cooking the books to make the Covid death rate look lower than it really is is preferable to saving lives, because then there is
the added benefit of appealing to Trump's gullible base.

The thing is, most of those too clueless and ignorant get vaccinated have been Republicans, and the unvaccinated died at a much higher rate than those who were vaccinated. Like the rest of the swing states, elections are often very close in Florida, so I
guess I don't understand the strategy of killing off your own voters with the election margins being as slim as they are. In fact, I would not be surprised if DeSantis lost the next election by less than the number of Republican voters he killed during
    the pandemic.

Doesn't matter, because Tommy isn't capable of comprehending anything
that's not a binary 1/0. As such, it could provide a 99.99% risk reduction and

This post is hilarious. I had to read it over and over, to make sure this was not some hallucination.

    Scientific method? LOLOLOL!

There is nothing scientific about anything relating to Covid. It is about politics, suppression of human rights, and mega profits for Big Pharma and our crooked politicians. Science now is about getting something to fit an agenda. Science does not
drive agendas and policies, agendas and policies drive science. Any scientist or researcher or anyone that does not walk the walk and talk the talk, is done. Cancelled, loss of liscence or privalege, and called any number of names.

This was a vaccine looking for a virus. Quite interesting, that the day the EUAs were announced, the poisons were packed and ready for shipment. The pharmaceuticals already had the "wink wink" that it all was ok, that approval with liability protection
was assured. The whole thing was rigged, and I am absolutely amazed how stupid people are to think that this was all driven by science. I don't wish bad on anyone, but more and more each day the truth comes out about these poisons. We will here so
many stories, poor poor me, poor poor me, how could this have happened. Well, stupid things happen to stupid people.

September shortly after school started. Gov DeSantis had killed off
the remote school program and banned schools from enforcing mask
mandates, making the schools pretty much ideal petri dishes for
spreading the pandemic far and wide. We're big fans of the
scientific method at our house, so my wife and I were vaccinated
and had mild symptoms. Our son also had mild symptoms, thank god.

I assume DeSantis wants to be President so badly doesn't care how
many people he kills to get there. From that perspective cooking
the books to make the Covid death rate look lower than it really is
is preferable to saving lives, because then there is the added
benefit of appealing to Trump's gullible base.

The thing is, most of those too clueless and ignorant get
vaccinated have been Republicans, and the unvaccinated died at a
much higher rate than those who were vaccinated. Like the rest of
the swing states, elections are often very close in Florida, so I
guess I don't understand the strategy of killing off your own
voters with the election margins being as slim as they are. In
fact, I would not be surprised if DeSantis lost the next election
by less than the number of Republican voters he killed during the
    pandemic.

Nope, for that guidance is based on Omicron, which is known to “move

Omicron has been in FL since it got to the US, Lyin' Asshole.

That cite isn't for a mask, Tommy. Its for a face shield intended to block splatter.

And "99.99%" was an illustration of how you'll never be satisfied with anything less.

The reality is that PPE like masks are a risk-reduction tool, just as how home insulation
is a heatloss-reduction tool: using an "R13" cloth mask isn't perfect, but it sure as hell
is better than an "R0" nothing. Similarly, employing an "R30" N95 mask is better than
    the "R13" cloth mask ...

... and in no instance will we ever get to the "R1,000,000" that you're effectively trying
to demand to drop your heating bill to literally zero, because taking it from $3000/yr
to $1000/yr isn't good enough for you.

Doesn't matter, because Tommy isn't capable of comprehending
anything that's not a binary 1/0. As such, it could provide a
99.99% risk reduction and he would still complain that it isn't
    perfect.

Because just like a child, he's looking for any excuse to "not
    eat his vegetables".

Hey Lyin' Asshole, forget about 99.99% REDUCTION, it is more like
0.01% (at least for cloth masks). The only thing that works for
COVID is 100%, and that does not exist:
    <https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s00264-020-04796-3>
That cite isn't for a mask, Tommy. Its for a face shield intended
    to block splatter.

And "99.99%" was an illustration of how you'll never be satisfied
    with anything less.

The reality is that PPE like masks are a risk-reduction tool, just
as how home insulation is a heatloss-reduction tool: using an "R13"
cloth mask isn't perfect, but it sure as hell is better than an
"R0" nothing. Similarly, employing an "R30" N95 mask is better
than the "R13" cloth mask ...

... and in no instance will we ever get to the "R1,000,000" that
you're effectively trying to demand to drop your heating bill to
literally zero, because taking it from $3000/yr to $1000/yr isn't
    good enough for you.

Face shields are like those ridiculous shields they put up at
checkout counters. If I farted a big, stinky fart on one side of
those partitions do you think the person on the other side wouldn't
smell it? The same thing goes for COVID which spreads even faster
because of the much smaller size.

We'll just add air movement and diffusion to the things you don't know.

    And how is a virus...

    ..."much smaller"...

...than the molecules of a gas?

Nope, for that guidance is based on Omicron, which is known to “move faster”.

Nope, for that guidance is based on Omicron, which is known to “move >>>>> faster”.

Omicron has been in FL since it got to the US, Lyin'
    Asshole.

First detected case was in Northern California…not FL.

…and FL had dropped their mandates before Omicron was
found anywhere in the US, and before Omicron’s
    discovery was even announced worldwide.

As such, Omicron wasn’t even known, let alone it’s
    characteristics.

    Live in Florida, can confirm.

My wife and I both caught Covid (almost certainly Delta)
last September shortly after school started. Gov DeSantis
had killed off the remote school program and banned
schools from enforcing mask mandates, making the schools
pretty much ideal petri dishes for spreading the pandemic
far and wide. We're big fans of the scientific method at
our house, so my wife and I were vaccinated and had mild
symptoms. Our son also had mild symptoms, thank god.

I assume DeSantis wants to be President so badly doesn't
care how many people he kills to get there. From that
perspective cooking the books to make the Covid death
rate look lower than it really is is preferable to saving
lives, because then there is the added benefit of
    appealing to Trump's gullible base.

The thing is, most of those too clueless and ignorant
get vaccinated have been Republicans, and the
unvaccinated died at a much higher rate than those who
were vaccinated. Like the rest of the swing states,
elections are often very close in Florida, so I guess I
don't understand the strategy of killing off your own
voters with the election margins being as slim as they
are. In fact, I would not be surprised if DeSantis lost
the next election by less than the number of Republican
voters he killed during the pandemic.

    <https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s00264-020-04796-3>

We'll just add air movement and diffusion to the things you don't know.

People put their umbrellas away when it stops raining; you stand there dripping wet.
Him, and most of Florida stand outside sans umbrella while it was still raining.
That's why thousands unnecessarily died in FL in 2021.

What are the WHOLE nation agreeing with, Betty.
Apparently, Tommy is trying to believe that Florida "led the nation" not using
an umbrella during a storm, because when the storm has passed and those other States started to put away their umbrella, Florida (and Tommy) started to shout "See, you never needed an umbrella!" despite their big pile of bodies
    surrounding them.

FWIW, I didn't catch all the details in yesterday's 'Town Hall', but we're expecting
to relax some precautions this coming Monday; the criteria is to have the two
week average be under 15 (new cases per 100K? ... this is the part I missed) and it is currently at 11 ... expectation is that the weekend reports won't push
    up the average to over 15. This still isn't a totally "unfettered" precaution level;
the next lower one applies once the two week average drops below 2, so that one is apparently still at least another month out. Based on other statements
made, it looks like they're shooting for 23 May 2022 for that milestone.

Oh, and in actual mask performance news:

"NEW—NIH funded study of 1.1 million students & 160,000 school staff concludes:

💡"Universal masking was associated with a 72% reduction in secondary transmission”
    versus optional/partial masking."

    <https://twitter.com/DrEricDing/status/1502122407708041218>

Of course, a 72% reduction isn't good enough for Tommy, so let's go throw
that baby out with the bathwater!

Face shields are like those ridiculous shields they put up at checkout counters. If I farted a big, stinky fart on one side
of those partitions do you think the person on the other side wouldn't smell it? The same thing goes for COVID which spreads even faster because of the much smaller size.

We'll just add air movement and diffusion to the things you don't know.
I heard that Tommy let out a 'big stinky fart' two days ago. Gosh, still haven't smelled it here yet ... wonder why?
    And how is a virus...

    ..."much smaller"...
...than the molecules of a gas?
Just "big enough" to be a diversion attempt from the insulation analogy to risk reduction.

Hey Lyin' Asshole, now the WHOLE nation agrees with Florida - are YOU still wearing your fucking mask?

People put their umbrellas away when it stops raining; you stand there dripping wet.
Him, and most of Florida stand outside sans umbrella while it was still raining.
That's why thousands unnecessarily died in FL in 2021.

What are the WHOLE nation agreeing with, Betty.
Apparently, Tommy is trying to believe that Florida "led the nation" not using
an umbrella during a storm, because when the storm has passed and those other States started to put away their umbrella, Florida (and Tommy) started
to shout "See, you never needed an umbrella!" despite their big pile of bodies
    surrounding them.

FWIW, I didn't catch all the details in yesterday's 'Town Hall', but we're expecting
to relax some precautions this coming Monday; the criteria is to have the two
week average be under 15 (new cases per 100K? ... this is the part I missed)
and it is currently at 11 ... expectation is that the weekend reports won't push
    up the average to over 15. This still isn't a totally "unfettered" precaution level;
the next lower one applies once the two week average drops below 2, so that
one is apparently still at least another month out.

    <https://twitter.com/DrEricDing/status/1502122407708041218>

Of course, a 72% reduction isn't good enough for Tommy, so let's go throw that baby out with the bathwater!

    -hh

    Oh, REALLY? Read this: https://www.kuow.org/stories/masks-work-but-do-mask-mandates-work-in-schools-that-s-debatable

“The mask-optional district, for quite a period of time, actually looked to be doing better in terms of case rates,” Smelkinson said. “Studies like this show that we can take our masks off and it’s going to be fine. I think seeing the data really
is eye-opening for a lot of people.”

This is what Florida PROVED to the country.

Hey Lyin' Asshole, now the WHOLE nation agrees with Florida - are YOU
    still wearing your fucking mask?

People put their umbrellas away when it stops raining; you stand there
    dripping wet.
Him, and most of Florida stand outside sans umbrella while it was still raining.
That's why thousands unnecessarily died in FL in 2021.

What are the WHOLE nation agreeing with, Betty.
Apparently, Tommy is trying to believe that Florida "led the nation" not using
an umbrella during a storm, because when the storm has passed and those
other States started to put away their umbrella, Florida (and Tommy) started
to shout "See, you never needed an umbrella!" despite their big pile of bodies
    surrounding them.

FWIW, I didn't catch all the details in yesterday's 'Town Hall', but we're expecting
to relax some precautions this coming Monday; the criteria is to have the two
week average be under 15 (new cases per 100K? ... this is the part I missed)
and it is currently at 11 ... expectation is that the weekend reports won't push
    up the average to over 15. This still isn't a totally "unfettered" precaution level;
the next lower one applies once the two week average drops below 2, so that
one is apparently still at least another month out.

    <https://twitter.com/DrEricDing/status/1502122407708041218>

Of course, a 72% reduction isn't good enough for Tommy, so let's go throw
that baby out with the bathwater!

    Oh, REALLY? Read this:
    https://www.kuow.org/stories/masks-work-but-do-mask-mandates-work-in-schools-that-s-debatable
“Masks work” .. in its first line.

Regarding if mandates work too, it’s a TBD in what was a substantially smaller study. Sorry.

Then WHY did the district which DID NOT mandate masks do BETTER than the one that did?

    Which district would that be?
(pulling up the bag of popcorn!)
