Now, every state except two are going to do what Florida did because the data show that Florida was RIGHT (the other two are still fucked in the head)!
And now you're answering the one poster who is guaranteed not to
    contradict you.

Florida didn't do what was right.

The accurate figures continue to bear out that Florida games the number
of deaths so that the number of recent deaths always looks good.

That is the LIE you keep on repeating, but never back up.
It's been backed up repeatedly, sunshine.

Covid is much more deadly to elderly than those over 75. Case in point, recently released Indiana data shows 325,644 cases in the 0-19 age cohort and 37 total deaths. For the 70 and over cohort it's about 144,700 cases and 15,200 deaths. https://www.
    coronavirus.in.gov/indiana-covid-19-dashboard-and-map/indiana-youth-covid-19-dashboard/

For national stats https://data.cdc.gov/NCHS/Provisional-COVID-19-Deaths-Focus-on-Ages-0-18-Yea/nr4s-juj3 shows the same pattern

I looked at the predicted Florida deaths/100,000 versus actual in the state cross section regression I think I mentioned a few weeks back. The regression included population 75 and over, population density and vaccine doses per person. The actual Florida
deaths/100,000 at that time was 30,358 and the predicted was 31,571. What can Florida do about demographics?

So what is Florida supposed to do? Expel the elderly and otherwise reduce population density? Florida vaccine doses per person at 1.64 is actually slightly higher than the national average 1.58 so that is not an issue peculiar to the general U.S.
reluctance to get vaccinated. What is a factor is Florida has 8.1% of the population 75+, the highest in the country.

I think you just want to blame government when the problem rests elsewhere.

Florida has far fewer deaths than California or Texas. I throw in IL and PA as points of reference. As of a few weeks ago:

    COVID Deaths
    IL 35,725
    PA 42,134
    FL 67,328
    TX 80,566
    CA 81,437

    FL 22,177,997
    TX 30,097,526
    CA 39,664,128

By Golly, there seems to be a correlation here!

Now, every state except two are going to do what Florida
did because the data show that Florida was RIGHT (the other
two are still fucked in the head)!
And now you're answering the one poster who is guaranteed not
    to contradict you.

Florida didn't do what was right.

The accurate figures continue to bear out that Florida games
the number of deaths so that the number of recent deaths
    always looks good.
That is the LIE you keep on repeating, but never back up.

Florida has far fewer deaths than California or Texas. I throw in
IL and PA as points of reference. As of a few weeks ago:

    COVID Deaths
    IL 35,725
    PA 42,134
    FL 67,328
    TX 80,566
    CA 81,437

    Population

    IL 12,518,071
    PA 12,805,190
    FL 22,177,997
    TX 30,097,526
    CA 39,664,128

What are the numbers for the last 6/12 months?

2021 Taken to eliminate FL declared undercount.
deaths per million, comes out as

    FL 1791
    CA 1289
    TX 1593

Even with the declared undercount FL is still the worst of the 3
    this year.

    2022
    FL 347
    CA 236
    TX 308
By Golly, there seems to be a correlation here!

For clarity (and for posterity if that tweet should get deleted), the
chart shows that the death rate for the reddest tenth of US counties is currently about 400/100,000 per week... ...and still rising sharply.

The death rate for the bluest tenth is about 240/100,000... ...and while

Now, every state except two are going to do what Florida
did because the data show that Florida was RIGHT (the other two are still fucked in the head)!
And now you're answering the one poster who is guaranteed not to contradict you.

Florida didn't do what was right.

The accurate figures continue to bear out that Florida games the number of deaths so that the number of recent deaths
    always looks good.
That is the LIE you keep on repeating, but never back up.

Florida has far fewer deaths than California or Texas. I throw in IL and PA as points of reference. As of a few weeks ago:

    COVID Deaths
    IL 35,725
    PA 42,134
    FL 67,328
    TX 80,566
    CA 81,437

    FL 22,177,997
    TX 30,097,526
    CA 39,664,128

What are the numbers for the last 6/12 months?

2021 Taken to eliminate FL declared undercount.
deaths per million, comes out as

    FL 1791
    CA 1289
    TX 1593

Even with the declared undercount FL is still the worst of the 3
    this year.

    2022

For clarity, Florida was/is RIGHT, insane blue states was/are WRONG!

Florida is killing far more of its people.

For posterity's sake here's this twitter link also now archived at the Wayback Machine:

    <https://web.archive.org/web/20220316151152/https://twitter.com/charles_gaba/status/1504110799249367041>

It still says what Tommy doesn't want to confront, which is that the Redder the district,
the higher their per capita CoVid mortality is.

Likewise, turning to Worldometers tracking system and sorting by Deaths per Capitia:

    <https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/>

we can see that even by the "all time" metric that Tommy likes to try to deflect to, to avoid
addressing the "since Vaccine" metric I've used, that the top of the chart is now heavily filled
with his Red States to lead the way in per capita mortality.

    As of 3/17/22:

    1 Mississippi 4,139 [deaths/million]
    2 Arizona 3,922
    3 Alabama 3,875
    4 New Jersey 3,732
    5 Tennessee 3,720
    6 West Virginia 3,702
    7 Arkansas 3,655
    8 Louisiana 3,653
    9 Michigan 3,540
    10 New York 3,511

Now regarding Florida, they're currently in 17th, at 3,373 deaths/M, which by itself is 90%
the rate of the absolute worst Blue State ... but we also know that they deliberately use a
systemic delay underreporting, so their actual deaths on any day are actually a good 2-3K
higher than they're reporting. As such, if we take their current claimed mortality of ~72.5K
and notionally handicap them by an amount of ~2500 to normalize them vs the rest for
their reporting delay, then FL at 75K deaths = 3,492/M = 11th place on the above list.

Stay tuned, of course. With all the changes in reporting, I've long since stopped doing my
all States weekly tracker, but a quick eyeball shows that it looks like Georgia is going to
move up from 13th to 12th quite shortly, dropping Pennsylvania in this 'worst' ranking.

The data CLEARLY shows that Florida DOES NOT have the "highest" COVID death rate, despite what you libtards want to believe and the premise of this topic. As I have pointed out previously, Florida has the HIGHEST number of tourists in the country, even
libtards like AOC. It is to be EXPECTED that they will have a higher death rate as a result than places like Canada that do a total lockdown.

It still says what Tommy doesn't want to confront, which is that the Redder the district,
the higher their per capita CoVid mortality is.

Likewise, turning to Worldometers tracking system and sorting by Deaths per Capitia:

    <https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/>

we can see that even by the "all time" metric that Tommy likes to try to deflect to, to avoid
addressing the "since Vaccine" metric I've used, that the top of the chart is now heavily filled
with his Red States to lead the way in per capita mortality.

    As of 3/17/22:

The data CLEARLY shows that Florida DOES NOT have the "highest" COVID death rate, despite what you libtards want to believe and the premise of this topic. As I have pointed out previously, Florida has the HIGHEST number of tourists in the country,

Hey BirdBrain, admit it: Florida WON, and you fucking idiots LOST!

What Florida "won" was to have the highest per capita CoVid deaths since
    the vaccines became broadly available.

Apparently, Tommy doesn't understand words, so he needs a "picture".

Well, this illustration is close enough, particularly since it more directly addresses the partisanship:

    <https://twitter.com/charles_gaba/status/1504110799249367041/photo/1>

For clarity (and for posterity if that tweet should get deleted), the
chart shows that the death rate for the reddest tenth of US counties is
currently about 400/100,000 per week... ...and still rising sharply. >>>>>>>
The death rate for the bluest tenth is about 240/100,000... ...and while
still rising, it's not rising nearly as quickly.

For clarity, Florida was/is RIGHT, insane blue states was/are WRONG! >>>>>
Florida is killing far more of its people.
For posterity's sake here's this twitter link also now archived at the Wayback Machine:

    <https://web.archive.org/web/20220316151152/https://twitter.com/charles_gaba/status/1504110799249367041>

It still says what Tommy doesn't want to confront, which is that the Redder the district,
the higher their per capita CoVid mortality is.

Likewise, turning to Worldometers tracking system and sorting by Deaths per Capitia:

    <https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/>

we can see that even by the "all time" metric that Tommy likes to try to deflect to, to avoid
addressing the "since Vaccine" metric I've used, that the top of the chart is now heavily filled
with his Red States to lead the way in per capita mortality.

And EVERYONE knows you are lying about Florida.

Those are the CDC's numbers, Sunshine.

Yet another easy-to-understand graphic, for those who actually _want_ to understand the facts:

    <https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FOvsRXjXwAEUCOU?format=jpg&name=large> <https://twitter.com/AlecStapp/status/1507558536146038787>

Oh, and it is useful to note the areas under the curve, which reveal
that the Red refusals to 'lockdown' caused more deaths in 2020 than
the initial CoVid surge, as did also the Red refusal to vax caused
more deaths again in 2021 from Delta than the initial CoVid surge.

Certainly helps explain why on the all-time per capita death, the vast majority of the deadliest states are Red.

When you correct for population age and density plus vaccination acceptance the party affiliation of the governor has no effect on COVID death rates/100,000. True, vaccination rates are about 3 percentage point higher in blue states than red. But that
begs the question of causation. Do states have higher vaccination rates because of the party of the governor or are they predisposed to elect Democratic candidates?

Florida is killing far more of its people.

It's easy to point to "Florida". But Florida is not a person or a killer. It's 20 or so million people who vote in elections. Every U.S. state's government reflects the belief systems of the voters, and those differ by states. We are a democracy, not
Russia. If you want to blame someone/something blame those who value their personal freedom more than social responsibility and vote for candidates who reflect those values. How you "fix" that I have no idea.

I've had this argument with friends who are more than willing to throw the elderly under the COVID bus and refuse to get vaccinated. I don't get it. Look at the stats on those who were hospitalized and died in the Omicron wave and it's not even in your
own self-interest to be unvaccinated. You can't fix the TomS level of stupid. Quit trying. He will never get it.

    <https://twitter.com/charles_gaba/status/1504110799249367041/photo/1>

    <https://web.archive.org/web/20220316151152/https://twitter.com/charles_gaba/status/1504110799249367041>

It still says what Tommy doesn't want to confront, which is that the Redder the district,
the higher their per capita CoVid mortality is.

Likewise, turning to Worldometers tracking system and sorting by Deaths per Capitia:

    <https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/>

we can see that even by the "all time" metric that Tommy likes to try to deflect to, to avoid
addressing the "since Vaccine" metric I've used, that the top of the chart is now heavily filled
with his Red States to lead the way in per capita mortality.

    -hh

The data CLEARLY shows that Florida DOES NOT have the "highest" COVID death rate, despite what you libtards want to believe and the premise of this topic. As I have pointed out previously, Florida has the HIGHEST number of tourists in the country,
even libtards like AOC. It is to be EXPECTED that they will have a higher death rate as a result than places like Canada that do a total lockdown.
    Sorry, Sunshine.

Everybody knows that the latest figures for Florida only look good,
because Florida delays the reporting of deaths and cases to make them >> look good.

You've been show this over and over.

Take a good look at this:

    <https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FNxVo73VgAIJc6e?format=jpg&name=small>

    And this:

    <https://www.datawrapper.de/_/fyDck/>

Load this one, then click the "Get Data" button...

...and you'll see that, no: Florida is not the highest...

    ...they're third.

    And of the top ten:

    West Virginia 3,555 1,782,959 199.4
    Wyoming 994 578,803 171.7
    Florida 33,296 21,781,128 152.9
    Arkansas 4,535 3,025,891 149.9
    South Carolina 7,388 5,190,705 142.3
    Ohio 16,709 11,780,017 141.8
    Alabama 7,124 5,039,877 141.4
    Montana 1,542 1,104,271 139.6
    Idaho 2,642 1,900,923 139.0
    Tennessee 9,620 6,975,218 137.9

Not a single one has a Democrat for a governor.

    -hh

But this may have more to do with long held and ingrained individual preferences and belief systems than the single issue of vaccination/COVID restrictions acceptance and the state's majority political party. Does causation run from the people to the
state government or does the government determine political preference? All of you are ignoring that important question. In a democracy does the causation not run from people to the elected officials, not the other way?

Now, every state except two are going to do

Florida didn't do what was right.

The accurate figures continue to bear out that
Florida games the number of deaths so that the
number of recent deaths always looks good.
That is the LIE you keep on repeating, but never

Florida has far fewer deaths than California or
Texas. I throw in IL and PA as points of reference.

    30,097,526 CA 39,664,128

What are the numbers for the last 6/12 months?

2021 Taken to eliminate FL declared undercount.
deaths per million, comes out as

    FL 1791 CA 1289 TX 1593

Even with the declared undercount FL is still the
worst of the 3 this year.

What Florida "won" was to have the highest per capita CoVid
deaths since the vaccines became broadly available.

Apparently, Tommy doesn't understand words, so he needs a
    "picture".

Well, this illustration is close enough, particularly since it

For clarity (and for posterity if that tweet should get deleted),
the chart shows that the death rate for the reddest tenth of US
counties is currently about 400/100,000 per week... ...and still
    rising sharply.

The death rate for the bluest tenth is about 240/100,000...
...and while still rising, it's not rising nearly as quickly.
For clarity, Florida was/is RIGHT, insane blue states was/are

When you correct for population age and density plus vaccination acceptance the party affiliation of the governor has no effect on
    COVID death rates/100,000.

The asshole that "threw the elderly under the COVID bus" is Andy Cuomo who ordered COVID-positive elderly returned to nursing homes totally unprepared to handle them. You, of course, regard that as "smart".

currently about 400/100,000 per week... ...and still rising sharply.

    <https://web.archive.org/web/20220316151152/https://twitter.com/charles_gaba/status/1504110799249367041>

It still says what Tommy doesn't want to confront, which is that the Redder the district,
the higher their per capita CoVid mortality is.

Likewise, turning to Worldometers tracking system and sorting by Deaths per Capitia:

    <https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/>

we can see that even by the "all time" metric that Tommy likes to try to deflect to, to avoid
addressing the "since Vaccine" metric I've used, that the top of the chart is now heavily filled
with his Red States to lead the way in per capita mortality.

    And this:

Load this one, then click the "Get Data" button...

...and you'll see that, no: Florida is not the highest...

    ...they're third.

    And of the top ten:

    West Virginia 3,555 1,782,959 199.4
    Wyoming 994 578,803 171.7
    Florida 33,296 21,781,128 152.9
    Arkansas 4,535 3,025,891 149.9
    South Carolina 7,388 5,190,705 142.3
    Ohio 16,709 11,780,017 141.8
    Alabama 7,124 5,039,877 141.4
    Montana 1,542 1,104,271 139.6
    Idaho 2,642 1,900,923 139.0
    Tennessee 9,620 6,975,218 137.9

Not a single one has a Democrat for a governor.

    -hh

Which reflects majority preferences for individual "freedom of choice" versus "socially responsible" decisions and negative externalities. Red and Blue are labels are an attempt to place blame on political parties when blame belongs elsewhere. So, the
question is not the state's political party but where do the belief differences come from? Why are people willing to sacrifice freedom and welfare of others and make choices that endanger strangers and even their own family? I simply don't get it.

Now, every state except two are going to do what Florida

And now you're answering the one poster who is guaranteed not

Florida didn't do what was right.

The accurate figures continue to bear out that Florida games
the number of deaths so that the number of recent deaths

That is the LIE you keep on repeating, but never back up.

Florida has far fewer deaths than California or Texas. I throw in
IL and PA as points of reference. As of a few weeks ago: >>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Hey BirdBrain, admit it: Florida WON and you fucking idiots LOST!
    ?

    Your dementia is taking over.

What did Florida win other than family escaping your influence... and

I certainly haven't lost anything to them... unlike yourself.
