    have a say in matters, and from which we can gage what public sentiment is based on actual
    elections, not "what if?" opinions. Granted, these are this years' elections, not 2024, but when
    it comes to Party alignment and public support thereof, there's perhaps some insights to be
    gained...

    ...case in point, that classically 'Red' State of Kentucky went for Trump over Biden in 2020 by
    a margin of 62% vs 36% = 26 points ... but the year prior, KY elected a Democrat, Andy Beshear
    for Governor, so was 2019 a fluke? Or was the fluke 2020? Well, perhaps some insight can be
    gleaned from how Beshear does in his reelection attempt tonight: for reference, his margin
    back in 2019 was 49.2% vs 48.8% = 0.4 points.

    Hmmm...with 95% votes counted, seems Beshear has increased his margin in KY: 52.5% - 47.5% = 5.0 points.
