    Sununu is right.

It's still amazing to me that there are millions of American voters
who lived through the 4-year plane crash that was the Trump
administration and all the chaos that followed, and still cannot
understand that Trump is a deranged sociopath.

I will stick my head out on a limb here and suggest that Trump may
have already sold many of America's secrets to an enemy state. How
else can one explain the Saudi's curious generosity to Trump and his
family? Jared got $2 billion from them to play investment fund
manager, and Trump himself signed a naming deal for a massive $4
billion resort in Oman. The Saudis have also hosted a surprising
number of LIV golf tournaments on Trump properties. I can only
assume the Saudis received information of great value in exchange
for all this money. Trump does not have a conscience and he would
not hesitate to betray his own country for financial gain.

Of course the suckers that make up Trump's base will never abandon
their hero. But voters in the political center, who are needed to
win any election, have seen enough. Trump may well win the
Republican nomination, and it would be hilarious if he did, but he
will never win the 2024 election.

And when he loses there will be no further attempts to overthrow the government. Many of Trump's most rabid and violent supporters have
been jailed over 1/6 and that has had a chilling effect on the
potential for any far-right violence. Trump's supporters maybe don't
have the best grip on reality, but they do know that they don't want
    to go to jail.

    Trump is done.

Despite the continuing insanity since then. Despite stuff like this from the rightists since as far back as who knows when? Rightist pro-status quo parties have been the bane of existence, everywhere.

I don't know one way or the other, but I do know Sununu doesn't know anything more than the rest of us.

You mean you HOPE he doesn't.
