Just a reminder that there is more going on that simply turning back the
    clock on women's rights.

    In the dead of night:

'The bill, Senate File 542, would let 14-year-olds work six-hour night
shifts, 15-year-olds “perform light assembly work” and move items of up
to 50 pounds, and 16- and 17-year-olds serve alcohol, if their parent or guardian signs a waiver. The Senate voted 32-17, with one Republican representative joining all 16 Democrats in opposition, and the bill
    passed at 4:52 a.m.'

'The new law, called the Youth Hiring Act, will eliminate the
requirement that children aged 14 and 15 seeking a job acquire a
document issued by the director of the Division of Labor, which includes
the child’s work schedule and a description of their work duties, as
well as proof of age and parent or guardian consent.'
