Indeed.
I wonder what the odds would have been 3 months ago of Allan Dell,
Kristian Dacey, Tomas Francis, Cory Hill, Gareth Davies and Finn
Russell being selected in a Lions team (even if only on the bench). I
don't even know which positions Dacey or Hill play in.
All concentration on the Saturday games now, which is the point of the exercise of course.
What a shame all the games are in the evening with good live audiences
but poor playing conditions.
Interesting that Tipuric and Lawes are starting midweek so not likely
to be in the test squad. Sinckler rested presumably for the test bench
is more of a worry. Perhaps he will be more responsible -- Itoje seems
to have responded well to a word in his ear.
Could be a fun series. Gatland has the players for his preferred plan.
A shame they haven't had much time to gel behind or to maximise the
pack performance.

Kiwi media is full of it. What is "Warren Ball"?

Big pack, attach tight to the breakdown with a big inside centre
(Jamie Roberts type), kick to large wingers, generally kick a lot.

It isn't really a Warrenball backline despite Te'o being 12.
I don't have many complaints at all. I'm not sure about Sinckler on
the bench owing to his discipline, apart from that looks good. Four
England backs a bit of a surprise.
Let the fun begin!

I enjoyed it. It's what you get when you put effectively a scratch
team up against NZ.

Good test. Both teams not working to full potential.
Lions supporters went real quiet early on, offered nothing to the team.
Great try; Williams-Daly-Davies finished by O'Brien.
Alun Wyn Jones and Sam Warburton both look well passed their use-by date. Fatso Furlong spent a lot of time flopped on the deck like a beached
whale; couldn't keep up, trying to slow the game down.
