Gaining more foothold in Global South & of course developing Asia. I

Very happy with my last 2 iphones since switching from Samsung.
Everything works seamlessly zero stress or hassles. The air pods are
great, read emails and chats to you, pause when someone talks to you,
noise cancel as well as transparency, switch automatically between ipad
and iphone. The ultra watch is amazing as well as ipad pro M1, will
prob upgrade to M3 ipad next month when it comes out will have OLED
screen, though hard to imagine a better screen quality than what I have,
will pass down M1 to the wife. The video quality is stunning, I think
all the reviews agree Apple is no.1 in video quality no matter the specs
on these cheaper phones you link.

I'm not wedded to any technology company but will need a very compelling
reason to leave Apple. Samsung was good but well behind Apple in
reliability. They allow too much customization and dodgy apps that slow
and bog down your system, and I experienced screen freezing issues after
a couple years. When you factor everything into the user experience I
don't think Apple is overpriced at all. I'll pay a premium for quality
and reliability, life is too short to have unnecessary stress in your
life. What's a few more k in your bank acct when you die?

All the reviews however tell that Samsung S24 has better video quality
than Apple 15 pro max, and Xiaomi Ultra exceeds that. Cameras at Samsung
& Xiaomi are simply better.

As do the specs:

Apple: 4K-60fps
Samsung/Xiaomi: 4K-120fps AND 8K-30fps

At 2K Apple & Samsung can do 240fps... Xiaomi 1920fps!!!
Not sure what that is all about, maybe some super slow video capability
for Xiaomi.

Yes. Couple hundreds here or there makes little difference... If I was
to buy a new phone I'd definitely pick Xiaomi, best phone of the three,
with huge edge to Apple in every respect.

I'm far from convinced it's better. All I know is I had hassles with
Samsung and all my apple products are smooth sailing since I switched.
Why risk trying another brand that I'm certain will disappoint me in

I've had no problems with Samsung.
Using currently old Iphone though.

Some problems with it...

-NO BACK-BUTTON! This is a *massive* minus for usability. Yes I know
swipe, but it doesn't work in everything & doesn't close an app.

-Can't close all applications at once, have to tap action button to get
away from app, then double-tap it to show active apps, then swipe all
apps away one by one.

-Screwed up file system, can't name own directories etc.

-Difficulty moving files with cable from PC => iphone, need to use
itunes crapola, it's a hassle.

-5GB free icloud, but needed to give credit card number anyway.

-compatibility with Windows apps?

-Siri sucks

...The good:
-Good camera & video

-At least the crapola Itunes makes a backup.
