Undecided won't have problem with that, as long as Biden imports them LEGALLY.

What Musq, Twump, and the rest are REALLY afraid of is that that
bi-partisan bill would pass. That would be a victory for Biden. The
legislation would effectively shut down the southern border. Which
    should make you chumps happy.

    That's bullshit.

    You know that you need?
    Nothing.

    Everything is fine.
    And everything is fine everywhere.

If what you say were true, it would mean that normal life is impossible without constant population growth?

    That's an absurd idea.

At one point you have to be done with it. What then?

How do you plan your US society and country could operate if it stabilises at around 340 millions and stops growing. Why wouldn't they?

China is done at 1,4 million, India will be at perhaps 1,7 or whatever.

And that's it. And then you naturally fluctuate +/- tens of millions up and down.

Do you think that would make life impossible? Why?

It has happened in Japan. They hit historical population peak at 135 millions, they're back at 120 or so and they could sink lower in the future and what has happened to them?

Have they become third world country?
    No.

They'll face certain challenges but they'll also face rejuvenation later by newer generations.

And even if they fall as low as 50 millions, it's still so much more than they had in middle ages. 50 millions is enough for their nation to survive. And they will survive, whether it's 120 or 100 or 50.

As long as they're homogeneous society.

So what I'm saying, you don't even need constant growth made of your own people, you simply can't have it forever. At one point it would stop.

You have to learn to live in a sustainable manner. And not make fuss (economically) about the impending population decline.

Why are people obsessed with minor fluctuations?

They can't tolerate couple of degrees temperature more or less, can't tolerate population shrinkage of few % and so on.

And I haven't touched the issue of the thing that would constitute a high treason in most of human history, importing alien populations as your own is shrinking and governments promoting feminism and gay to native people but importing aliens at the same
    time.

    That's a high treason.

why would Musk be afraid of a bi-partisan bill? he's politically
    neutral.

I feel a strange pull down my leg.

You know well as I that it wouldn't shut down the southern border.

Bills that pass are sometimes enforced. The sulky Housepubbies don't
seem too eager to pass anything, though. But who knows.

Perhaps, but I'd argue that the rise of "AI" and "AI"-powered automation >> > will cut into any human labor shortages significantly in the next 20-25
    years.
Hard to say what AI's eventual effect will be, but it seems that each
individual human has less intrinsic social value to the society as whole
than it did in a pre-industrial society, where communal labor on shared
projects was more important. So in general each human is less essential.
And yet the asking price of human participation in the form of labor
increases, while the demand for this labor decreases.

    It looks bad, to me.

But does AI, itself, pay taxes? Human labor does, and this supports
programs. Maybe policy will need to tax AI as it if is human.

It seems like AI just hastens this.

I used to think that AI going Skynet on us was impossible. But what if it is instructed to protect itself? It could become threatening?
