US has also banned Chinese solar panel imports due to excuse of forced
labor, Huawei citing "security concerns", Ai Chips, advanced
semiconductor imports to China citing military concerns - while US is
using same semiconductors for intelligent swarms of drones...
Chinese electric cars have 25% tariffs, steel 50% etc. But selling
shirts etc non-advanced technology is apparently ok.
The fact is that US is unfairly using these questionable excuses for
bans (&tariffs) & geopolitical domination to prevent China from rising
as the world's #1 economic power. It's disgusting market manipulation
really. I find the semiconductor ban especially evil.
However China may already be world's top economy, at least it is that at
trade, being the top trading partner for 120+ world countries (out of
195). China is of course the world's largest market & top
manufacturer... while US is mostly (70%) service sector economy running
on money printing & debt.
The US-China trade war, started by Trump and further escalated by the
senile idiot Biden is one cause for the current inflation. Trump plans
to put 10% import tariffs to all the world if he wins the presidency.
