He should arrest that judge once he's in power.

    It will go to appeal

Yep, and the amount will be lowered by about 90% and then both sides
will agree to stop going to court again with a confidential settlement
of around 3-5 million, give or take... With lawyers on both sides
getting 35-50% of that. Got to love those lawyers...

I don't know, he continues to "defame" her so that gravy train will
    probably just keep on chugging.

    Gravy train indeed.

The woman has very little evidence that something happened 30 years ago.
The only evidence is that two of her female friends (reporters) confirm
that she told them at the time that trump raped her. And an unrelated
    photo.

83 million sounds a bit high for Trump saying that he didn't do it and
the woman is lying, has financial motives. I wouldn't even call that defamation. Of course the accused is going to say this.

I wouldn't trust this woman at all... this is what I found googling "e
    jean carroll"...

    https://www.thecut.com/article/donald-trump-assault-e-jean-carroll-other-hideous-men.html

    The column starts with...

"The first rich boy’s name was James. He was raped by his grandfather.
He was raped by his uncles. He was beaten by his father. My mother told
    me the stories much later"
    .
    .
"James was 7 and a half or 8, a bloodthirsty, beautiful, relentless boy.
He ordered everyone around, even the older kids. To me he said, “I’m
going to shove this up you again.”"

...James was raped around a lot it seems. And her mother knows a lot
too. Bloodthirsty 7 year old. Right. This is BS. She's not trustworthy.

There's a picture of her standing in black clothes and the text reads:
"This is what I was wearing when Donald Trump attacked me in Bergdorff
    Goodman dressing room"

    Defamation my ass.

Great victory for metoo movement. Man gets to pay 83 million for saying
the woman is lying and he didn't do it 30 years ago.

    Defamation my ass.

This trial was all about what he owed, not his culpability. And he put
up a terrible, below amateur defense. Not a great idea to disrespect
the jury whose only task is to determine how much financial pain they'll inflict.

It's always a good idea to save on lawyer expenses...

How did he disrespect the jury, by walking out?

Ouch, he has to put up the money in order to appeal. Of course this

No, my red-hatted friend, it's an appeals bond and it's the law.

What a great system you have.

so what that's irrelevant, as a juror you're there to decide whether
the person is guilty or not. You don't find Trump guilty just because
you dislike him or he's annoyed you personally, that's plain wrong.

But this trial was not about his liability as that was already
established, this was to determine how much he has to pay.

Yet it seems that the woman lies.
Claiming that is hardly worth 83 mil, even if she doesn't.
