    Wow. That's heavy.

    BBC front page news, too.

This is called "mining for victimhood".

we mustn't hurt anyone by anything we say nor are we allowed to call Hamas "TERRORISTS"(that's banned at the BBC) or condemn them as that is not a helpful! meanwhile it's fine to hate and use the worst possible words for Israel and Trump.

Calling some unnamed waitress "enormous" 11 years ago and now having to profusely apologize for that goes to Orwellian levels of thought
control. Or just the normal woke left agenda nowadays.

And having such ridiculous news making BBC front page too, without any criticism of the "news". This is how woke left normalizes their absurd
    agendas.

The BBC does the same with news as they do with the rest of their programming. Yes, it is absurd to go back decades over people's lives in the search for stray remarks to pillory them for. Even sadder how most of those targeted play the game and
apologize profusely in carefully prepared statements for fear it will snowball and bury their lives and careers.

Living outside the US, you may have missed this one from 2021. I knew then we were headed for cultural insanity.

Ice, an important thing to realize when debating wokesters is that the
meaning of the work "hypocrisy" is unknown to them, mostly. When it's
explained to them, they see nothing unusual or wrong in it. Just another
tool to be used to get their way.

So yep: their universe is by definition a multiple standards universe.
Each identity group has a different standard of acceptable behavior and
social responsibility. And the woke are the ones to define these standards.

..and these standards change according to whim.

It's like living with the Red Queen.
