All the girls that lost to Halep could also have claims to the Wimbledon
title, should we give out 7 Wimbledon titles that year?

There's no evidence Halep was doping in 2019.

True, there is no evidence, but we can be sure

Of course they do doping. Lots of it. Just like in any
other sports! The enlightened ones know this and
accept it as a fact, because there is nothing we can
do about it. And why should we?

    The spectators love it!

Let's just enjoy the great tennis matches that our

they have stamina, their minds are not shaky. That's
    cool, man!

The richest athletes get to buy the best designer
drugs that exist. They help tremendously and cannot
be detected in doping tests. And it is not a stand
still situation: the chemists are always working
on improving their doping products so that they
    can earn more money.

As long as it keeps you happy, sure keep thinking this way.

I don't know, but it's a valid suspicion. I hope not, same as with baseball.

Let's face the harsh reality: ATP and ITF are not
charity organizations. They are out there for one thing
only: *to make as much money as possible*.

They do not want the public to know that our tennis heroes
use doping. Their goal is to sell tickets to tournaments,
but even more to sell broadcasting rights to television
companies and Internet companies. They also needs sponsors
and advertisers to make maximum profit.

The best tennis players earn pretty big sums of money
as prizes, but the biggest source of their income is
    *sponsorship deals*.

If Djoker wears Lacoste, many people want to do
the same. If Djoker uses Head racquets, many people
again want to do the same. Hobbyists and fans usually
look up to their heroes and want to be like them.

It would be *a disaster* if all the spectators knew
how common Adderal use is, for example. The general
public is not ready to handle the truth, but maybe
in the future they will be? I don't know. It may
    take long time to happen.

All this doping happens not just in tennis, but all
professional sports. We just have to accept it.

They all do it, nothing we can do about it - and
we should not as I enjoy great tennis matches
knowing fully well that the players I watch use
doping. Let them compete and entertain us. It
is not so serious, it is just show business.

Very long post, but the facts are lots of players get suspended, for example Sharapova, she was huge for the sports and they gave no shit when they suspended her.
Then we are discussing Halep here in this thread as well.
So we are in discussion threads about actual suspension of players for doping while you are saying all players are doping and the atp and wada are pimps.
Do you see the contradiction here, it seems people lost every piece of logic.

Do you see the contradiction here, it seems people lost every piece of logic.

these "all ATP/WTA players dope" are nothing but big big conspiracy theorists, they reckon all that weird unproven stuff about Putin too usually and probably still believe there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq too.

There is no contradiction, my friend. As I have
said, Sharapova and Halep did something wrong.
    They had to be punished.

They did not obey the Money Pigs' orders, so
they were outed as doping users. It is a very
convenient way to get rid of dissidents.

If you think of cycling and Lance Armstrong,
I believe some shady characters were
blackmailing Lance. They had knowlegde and
proof that he had won Tour De France competitions
    with the help of doping.

Lance was told by the blackmailers: "As long as
you keep paying us, we will remain silent about
your doping use". One day Lance just could not
take it anymore, so the blackmailers did what
they had promised: They outed Lance and stained
his reputation as a top class athlete.

Long time ago I came to a very important
realization: "Raha ratkaisee". Please listen to
    this Irwin Goodman song:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c9ktBm3gh_o

    "Raha ratkaisee", loosely translated as
    "Only money matters".

Serena now only wants to desperately "win" her

it was good when the Americans did that big investigation into Russia state aided doping and Russian hackers then revealed to the world that lots of USA athletes like Serena bend the rules YUGELY by claiming to have "asthma" and PEDs for that!

It's the biggest joke of the century that Serena of all players is saying she deserves a slam win because her opponent was doping. I mean, who is she kidding? That roided-up hippo.

It shows you what BS it all is when other top players are commenting about doping and claiming innocence on the subject. They all deserve academy awards.

    Agreed. We all know Serena would use ANY angle possible to win;
including intimidating opponents, influencing scheduling, threatening
lines judges, and etc. And those are the ones that are well known!

Exactly! I agree with all of it. Who cares if they're doping?

Well the context is that Serena thinks she should have the title since >> > Halep is a doper... so apparently Serena hints that it matters...

Which is of course rather phony considering her own panic room adventures.
Serena is nothing but a big hypocrite. She is
not clean either, that is for sure. Nor is her
    sister Venus.

Serena now only wants to desperately "win" her
24th GS event so that her GS count would equal
that of Margaret Court's. I believe it is not
    going to happen.

it was good when the Americans did that big investigation into Russia state aided doping and Russian hackers then revealed to the world that lots of USA athletes like Serena bend the rules YUGELY by claiming to have "asthma" and PEDs for that!
Like many people have said: All top athletes do doping.

this is good cos that means there's a BIG conspiracy by Big Pharma like there was with the vax, yes?

as it keeps you happy, sure keep thinking this way.> > I don't know, but it's a valid suspicion. I hope not, same as with baseball.Let's face the harsh reality: ATP and ITF are notcharity organizations. They are out there for one thingonly: *to make as
much money as possible*.They do not want the public to know that our tennis heroesuse doping. Their goal is to sell tickets to tournaments, but even more to sell broadcasting rights to television companies and Internet companies. They also needs
sponsorsand advertisers to make maximum profit. The best tennis players earn pretty big sums of moneyas prizes, but the biggest source of their income is*sponsorship deals*. If Djoker wears Lacoste, many people want to do the same. If Djoker uses Head
racquets, many people again want to do the same. Hobbyists and fans usually look up to their heroes and want to be like them.It would be *a disaster* if all the spectators knewhow common Adderal use is, for example. The generalpublic is not ready to
handle the truth, but maybein the future they will be? I don't know. It maytake long time to happen. All this doping happens not just in tennis, but allprofessional sports. We just have to accept it.They all do it, nothing we can do about it - andwe
should not as I enjoy great tennis matchesknowing fully well that the players I watch usedoping. Let them compete and entertain us. Itis not so serious, it is just show business.br,KK

    "Raha ratkaisee", loosely translated as
    "Only money matters".

    br,
    KK

Citing a song in not a great way to prove your point.

That song is a timeless classic. It tells us the
    sad truth...

    br,
    KK
