Sometimes Medvedev comes onto court and has decided he's not going to lose no matter what. It appears this is one of those times. Can he make Djokovic his chihuahua again like he did a couple of years ago at the USO?

I agree. That was a bad loss for Medvedev. But he'll forever be heroic for stopping Pipe from completing the CYGS!

I haven't liked his attitude and tantrums at times but there have also been occasions where his performances have been impressive. Tonight is one of those times, at least so far.

I just want to see a battle in the final, no matter who wins.

He's taking a page from Nadal's book. Suddenly more speed, power, and intensity to unsettle the opponent. We'll see if it works.

Yes. His energy levels are up. Plus he's pointing to his ear more frequently too. :)

Also, he's chatting with his coach so openly. I wonder if that's not breaking the rules.

Yes, Medvedev surprised everyone. He's very intelligent and knows
exactly what it takes to be competitive with these top guys and tries to execute the game plan. I think it's the best match I've ever seen him
play, no lapse and almost redlining the whole way. Deserves more credit
for his brains. Novak should win - maybe 10% chance for Medvedev - but
I'm very curios to see this match.

Also this isn't alarm bells for Carlos - he would have learned a lot
    from this loss for sure.

Very unlikely as he will have to redline the whole way again. But he's
