• US Open 2023: Medvedev vs Rublev

From Kalevi Kolttonen@21:1/5 to All on Wed Sep 6 13:09:30 2023
Fuck, two fucking players from Putlerlandia are
playing against each other. I am talking about
    Medvedev and Rublev here.

The good news is that one of those bastards
will lose. The bad news is that one of them
    will win.

ITF and ATP have no sense of righteousness
at all. All the players from Putlerlandia and
"Belarus" should be banned from playing. Note
that Belarus as a country does not really exist
    at all!

It is just a scam, pretending to be an
independent country when in reality it is
nothing but *a part of Putlerlandia*. The
president of Belarus is just a fucking fake
doll only sitting there on his throne, taking
orders from Putler and his criminal friends.

That's ridiculous, everyone can see through
    their sick lies!

The fucking Russians should form their own fucking
tennis circuit, just like they have the fucking
pathetic and corrupt KHL in ice hockey. Hahahaa!

Do not watch Medvedev vs Rublev match at all,
my friends! Show some respect and decency towards
Ukraine, please. We have seen what skriptis and
the Iceberg are like. They are Putler's trolls
    and very evil indeed.

Med and Rublev are 2 of the most interesting and entertaining players on
tour (in terms of personality/character), and very smart. I'll be watching.

That means implicit support for Putler. You should
*never* watch or support anyone from Putlerlandia -
unless they clearly support the Western World.

Well, I guess Rublev has said that he opposes the
war in Ukraine, so he might be okay. But ITF and
ATP should kick out all the fucking Putlerlandia
    freaks.

The banned players could then form their own
tennis circuit. I propose that it could be called
"PATL", for Putler's Asshole Tennis League.

No, I am trying to offer great ideas for making PATL
a huge success. If PATL is to be a viable alternative
to ATP and ITF, it needs to be designed with utmost
    care and attention.

I understand the point that you are trying to make

All England Lawn Tennis Club did the right thing when
they denied access to Putlerlandia freaks. The cowardly
ATP did not like what UK did, so they punished the
players by not awarding them any ATP points in Wimbledon.

Yes, all Putlerlandia freaks must be banned from

    Maybe.

But Alacraz's emerging off-court body language speaks volumes. He seems
to me to be a straight up guy. I'd never seen this in Nadal. Decent guy,
    but extremely one dimension.

But so what? He's a tennis player, one of the greats.

The fucking Russians should form their own fucking

pathetic and corrupt KHL in ice hockey. Hahahaa!

the Iceberg are like. They are Putler's trolls

Med and Rublev are 2 of the most interesting and entertaining players on

Yeah, the ear-cupping and "give me more love for my brilliant point" gestures still make me want to puke every single time. The other night when Coco did it, Chris Evert observed, "More players are doing that now." And Cliff said, "Oh *yeah*!" It's the

Let's take just one fundamental delusion that almost
all Christians share. First of all the Christians
tell us that their "god" is omniscient.

What does omniscient mean? It means someone who
knows it all, someone who knows absolutely
everything. Christian "god" is supposed to be like
    that.

Second, almost all Christians claim that Jesus is
"god", but that is nothing but a huge delusion.

Let's take some time to study the Gospel of Matthew
24:30-36. This is what one version of Bible tells
    us:

30 “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man
in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will
mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds
of heaven, with power and great glory.
31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call,
and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from
one end of the heavens to the other.
32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as
its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that
    summer is near.
33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that
it is near, right at the door.
34 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not
pass away until all these things have happened.
35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
    The Day and Hour Unknown
36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the
angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

The most important verse is the 36th. Nobody except the
Father (Jehovah, Jahweh, YHWH, etc.) knows when Jesus will
return. It explicitly says "nor the Son", and every
    Christian knows that:

    the Son = Jesus

So Jesus does not know when he will return. So Jesus
does not know everyhing. So Jesus is not omniscient.
    So Jesus is not "god".

The proof above is extremely simple and valid. Even
a child can understand it, but it drives Christians
crazy because it exposes one of their fundamental
    delusions.

I need to laugh here. Skriptis, seriously, fuck off.

I don't think Bible claims Jesus as all-knowing.

All Christians think that their "god" is omniscient,
whether it is in the Bible or not.

Almost all of them also think that Jesus is "god".

    br,
    KK

You need to have an open mind when it comes to 'god' concepts. Don't
take the bible literally, a lot of it is dumbed down to make sense to
    people of that time.

About the same age as TT, I'd guess.

So true. In fact, just yesterday I had a spirited debate with my goldfish about whether "Finding Nemo" or "Finding Dory" was the better film. Goldie and I went back and forth over it for hours, with each of us scoring points and considering the other's
point-of-view. Finally, we found common ground, agreeing that the original's superior story structure has greater merit than the sequel's decidedly more advanced animation.

I've been disappointed when discussing this same topic with ChatGPT, Bard, Claude, etc. It confused me until I read your comments. Of course! Goldie is a living thing--an organic product of evolution, whereas the AIs are primitive human creations prone
to "hallucination" and unexpected biases. Oh, they love to talk and talk, alright. But *reason*? Forget it.

No, reasoning is an universal act that almost
all living things seem to do. Sadly some people's
logic is so poor that they cannot reason at all.
So true. In fact, just yesterday I had a spirited debate with my goldfish about whether "Finding Nemo" or "Finding Dory" was the better film. Goldie and I went back and forth over it for hours, with each of us scoring points and considering the
other's point-of-view. Finally, we found common ground, agreeing that the original's superior story structure has greater merit than the sequel's decidedly more advanced animation.

I've been disappointed when discussing this same topic with ChatGPT, Bard, Claude, etc. It confused me until I read your comments. Of course! Goldie is a living thing--an organic product of evolution, whereas the AIs are primitive human creations
prone to "hallucination" and unexpected biases. Oh, they love to talk and talk, alright. But *reason*? Forget it.
I tried a while back to play a movie guessing game with Bard, where I >>>>> answer only yes or no. It tried to guess single popular movies, didn't >>>>> understand the concept of elimination (eg "Is the film black&white?" etc).
Maybe the problem is Bard-specific or the game might need more "prompt engineering." I haven't tried anything movie-related with AIs yet. Had some interesting exchanges about Bob Dylan songs with Claude though.
For lyrics, yeah, maybe AI can do analysis. But for appreciating the actual music, can it do that?
I wonder what Bard makes of "I am the walrus?"
Heh. It probably asks for computer-generated acid :-)

    :^D

It can rate the music, like Raja.

But it doesn't understand what music is.

Speaking of "AI", this article about an "AI" attempt at an obit for a sportsman had me rolling.

    https://futurism.com/msn-ai-brandon-hunter-useless

    Sounds like poor translation machine.

    -

"The article was not published by an unsupervised AI," Jeff Jones, a
senior director at Microsoft, claimed to The Verge at the time. "In this
case, the content was generated through a combination of algorithmic
techniques with human review, not a large language model or AI system."

...What's the difference between "combination of algorithmic techniques"
    vs AI?

I think nothing, just that the latter pretends there's intelligence
there. And pretend they must, the stock price depends on it...
