Good interview. Tsi is my sentimental Black Knight pet. Very sensible
comments about Raonic. I expected a tougher match, possibly another limb chopped off.

If he wants to be a successor to Fed, BH-wise or otherwise, he needs to
study what made Fed's BH so good and adapt that into his own game. For
someone like Tsi, this should not take too long. Very soon it's too
late. The rest of the game is good enuff.

Tsitsi's problem is not his backhand. Only a year ago #1 was in his own hands. Titles, deep slam runs, YEC title....

What is the problem: he just seems to be obsessed about his imago and being in spotlight rather than digging it deep?

That saying; margins are narrow, but Meds/Zverev are better from his presented generation.

well it's mostly his Dad as coach, he encouraged him to cheat by taking long bathroom breaks and send texts etc. that was incredibly stupid yet Tsitsi actually went along with that. He needs some new and better influences.

Even the interviewers keep asking Tsi about it ...

It's nothing in the stroke production. The BH just sucks. It's erratic, inconsistent, predictable, basically useless for returning, leaves the
FH side of the court open, ...

... then the 1-hander always is handicapped by longer prep and recovery
times. You have to be disciplined not to let that affect your footwork.
Tsi is all over the place like a yoyo. Compare his legwork with Fed's,
and where Fed hits his BHs from.

Tsi might perhaps be able to play differently to compensate for the BH
but that would mostly affect play when he serves. WHen he is not
    serving, he's a bleeping pedestrian.
