That's kinda my point about everything, b. People like to say that "race
is a human construct". Well, if it is, seems like justice must be as
well. And it's near congruent with "revenge".
Question for the class: Does a Rottweiler seek justice? Does a highland gorilla?

our divinity.

Look at the power that a scumbag like Putin has. Real power comes from within. The USSR communists wanted to destroy Christianity and replace it
with their own communist religion where the communist leaders play
the role of the gods.
Putler sees religion as useful. The Russian Orthodox Church fully
supports everything that Putler does. The fucking priests praise his
person and deeds.
Putler is very happy as he gets justification for his actions
from the fucking priests. Putler praises the fucking Orthodox Church to return the favour. I am sure that the fucking priests also get money and other goodies, too.
It is a clear example of a symbiotic relationship.
100% agree. But do you know the difference between
real Christianity and the crap that Putin puts out?
The Russian Orthodox Church is a tool of Putin.
No connection with the teachings of Jesus.

you can have a democracy that is *a bit better*. When Finland got
its independence in 1917, some crazy bastards insisted that Finland
should become a kingdom like Sweden, Norway, Denmark and UK.
They even had figured out a suitable candidate for our king, i.e.
some idiot from Germany was supposed to become The King of Finland!
It's been too long since I took any history lessons, so I cannot
remember why this evil plan got overturned. But we did not get
kings, queens, princes and princesses. We now have a political system
that is based on voting. There are no "political positions"
one can inherit by the virtue of belonging to a certain family.
Like elsewhere, most of our politicians are ignorant trash, but
at least we can choose to vote or not. When you have kings and
queens, the ordinary folks have to pay for their arrogant
life styles and finance their disgusting lives. Royal families are
a big disgrace indeed... No wonder wise people in the UK say:
"NOT MY KING!"

Tell me what the difference is between these 2 scenarios;
- You die and that's it
- You die but come back as someone else with no memory of your past life
For me there is no difference. How can you take solace in reincarnation
if you have no memory of your past existence?

OK.
I see no evidence whatsoever that after death any non-physical entity associated in any way with the deceased survives.

Believers in reincarnation believe you come back as you, not someone else. Even if you don't remember.
For me there is no difference. How can you take solace in reincarnation
if you have no memory of your past existence?
Buddhists take solace in knowing that the self will continue, and will have opportunity for improvement.

But you're talking to a Christian. I have studied Buddhism, and think its focus on the self is meaningful, but you should maybe talk to a real Buddhist. FWIW though, I don't think reincarnation means a total reboot. What is the self?

But the way I see it, I have to navigate thru life making decisions--or
I can simply go with the flow, but that's not possible for me, my type
of personality. These decisions are essentially bets, and I make it a
point to try for the best odds possible that will support my goals--and that's not simply a conversational device: I've had nesting, scoped
goals for at least 40 years, and prior to that, goals that were much
more vague.
I've been goal-oriented my entire life, one way or another.
So, seeing things this way, the bet that there is life after death is a non-betting situation; don't bet on it. What's more, it has not been demonstrated to me that I even *have* to place this bet. So it looks
like a losing bet on a situation on which I needn't make a choice.
So that's how I see it, nor am I saying it's correct. *I* think it is,

The para-dropping is blind. You can get dropped into an active civil
war. Spina bifida or Downs's is like being dropped into a lake, or something.
That did not happen to me. Now, *that's* part of what I see as "birth
luck". As an analogy, it is something like life being a stand pat poker
hand that you are dealt at birth. I believe that I got a low to mid 3 of
a kind.
Now that's *good*, very good...but you must now play it correctly.
And
even the ability to see life this way is in a sense a part of the birth
luck hand.
Life's strange, isn't it?

I would want no part of such a God. Our God created us with free will, but with power comes responsibility.
...but that's just me.

In his delusional dreams Jesus even thought that he

this ever happened, of course.
The damn Christian cannot even agree about which Bible

There are probably *thousands* of different Christian

you can have a democracy that is *a bit better*. When Finland got

When we observe elderly people who suffer from
brain-related illnesses, we can be surprised how
their entire personality can change. A friendly person
can turn into a raving maniac who is evil towards
everyone. Some people lose all their inhibitions and
start having sex with everybody. Basically
anything could happen.
In other words, when our brain gets seriously sick,
it can completely change the consciousness and
behaviour of the person in question. It is very
difficult to believe that a person has a separate
"soul" that is distinct from the person created
by our brains.
However, we can be absolutely certain that Bibles
are self-contradictory collections of bad literature.
They are for the most part just a bunch of sick lies
and ancient mythologies. As a non-believer, I actually
urge everyone to read some version of the Bible. It
is the best way to turn people into non-believers.
Just don't believe the Christians and don't ignore
the Old Testament.
Really torment yourself and start right from the

Money is good, but obsession is not.

That's from the Bible.
