That's not true. Businesses pay lots of taxes, whether they have income or not, some states have taxes on business gross receipts, they pay real estate
taxes, permit fees, social security taxes. But it's
all irrelevant, because whatever costs a business incurs, whether they have a
profit or not, they get passed
along to consumers, those that buy their products or services. So again, if BestBuy has to pay for two cop cars to sit around while they fix a parking lot entrance, that cost gets added to all their expenses, just like rent, cost of goods and salaries. Why can't Democrats understand
even the most basic economics?
