    I disagree with this.

    This is ilogical.


    The net is one body. How can we pretend "net isn't touched if it's touched outside of singles" when it's one body and waves of movement are felt on the entire net?

    Likewise, the net outside of singles can and does stop many shots, those past the post, that would have otherwise been winners if there was only short (singles) version of the net.

    This is genuinely stupid.

    I get where it comes from, but rules should be ammended and perhaps short version of the net is to be banned altogether, just make long net official for both singles and doubles, and of course height still being adjusted as usual.

    Two shots in the history of tennis have to recalled.

    While I think Djoker just slipped at his FO SF at that point...... too bad....
