• Nigel Farage bank account closed cos he's friends with Djoker!

From The Iceberg@21:1/5 to All on Tue Aug 1 15:05:42 2023
Last 2 weeks in UK been big story about Nigel Farage being "de-banked", yes the Brexit guy had his bank(Coutts) closed his account for no reason except for his political views! even better the Coutts CEO woman told a BBC journalist details about his
personal financial situation and then lied about why he was de-banked, saying it was to do with his account limit. Turned out he was indeed de-banked ONLY cos his political views weren't "in line with us as an inclusive organisation"(their words).
They included his support for Brexit, disagreeing with BLM violence and that he was friends with Djoker!! YES these leftist woke scumbags hate Djoker cos of his anti-vax stance.

The Coutts execs have now all resigned cos Farage jumped on it bigstyle and turned it into a huge scandal, which is it. Question is why are these woke leftists so evil? is it cos like bmoore they can't seem to explain or be honest about their own views
so just try to ban everyone who disagrees? how do they justify such behaviour?

They're evil true but why are banks legally allowed to do this?

    That's the problem behind this.

I mean what's the reason Anglin or Nick Fuentes were debanked other than their views too?

So this is not an isolated case.

Stop the bawling. Farage is one of many.

"British law requires banks to conduct extra scrutiny on “politically
exposed persons” such as politicians and diplomats as protection against money-laundering, and many U.K. lawmakers say they have been turned down
    for bank accounts."

You can't let Moscow fund these guys. Besides, he can continue using the account he has in Panama. Not a bigus dealus.

"A briefing presented to the bank's “reputational risk committee” said Farage is considered by many to be a “disingenuous grifter” with “xenophobic, chauvinistic and racist views” and suggests it could dump
him once he paid off his mortgage and dropped below its wealth criteria."

    Blessed are "reputational risk committees".

well yes, exactly! luckily the Conservative government still have some decency left and they are passing laws to stop banks ever doing this again, with any luck will stamp it out. The evil leftists just seem like spoilt children who can't tolerate any
opposiing view in the sick globalist Marxist agenda.

Stop the bawling. Farage is one of many.

yes and you can thank Farage for knowing that after his brilliant campaign to expose it!

"British law requires banks to conduct extra scrutiny on “politically exposed persons” such as politicians and diplomats as protection against money-laundering, and many U.K. lawmakers say they have been turned down
    for bank accounts."

you get all your money from your Dad, so you prob don't understand but money-laundering reasons are very different to politically charged reasoning. If I can prove my cash comes from a non-criminal source I can support Brexit, Trump, be friends with
Djoker or even make t-shirts about the great leader Mr.Putin if I want and there's ZERO reason for a bank not to give me an account.

You can't let Moscow fund these guys. Besides, he can continue using the account he has in Panama. Not a bigus dealus.

you need a bank account to live a regular life, you maroon, stop trying to use your dumb argument that you used to use for Twitter pre-Elon Musk, you know the argument you immediately flip-flopped from when Musk took over. Fact is the banks have always
always always happily welcomed in drug dealers, mafia, corrupt Ukranians, Robert Mugabe, Epstein, Weinstein, Sam Bankman-Fried etc. and any other criminal who will give them $$$, they have no morals or decency or care at all, all they care about is $$$.
At the back of this Farage thing is the WEF who are directing big business via wokeness to clamp down on anything opposing their sick globalist agenda(like Farage) with threats of messing up their investments otherwise. That's what you get with a bunch
of unelected, unaccountable evil scumbags running things(similar to the EUSSR).

"A briefing presented to the bank's “reputational risk committee” said Farage is considered by many to be a “disingenuous grifter” with “xenophobic, chauvinistic and racist views” and suggests it could dump him once he paid off his mortgage and dropped below its wealth criteria."

which "many" would that be, got any names/numbers on that one? cos can definitely be matched by many many more whom disagree with that wrong viewpoint and support Farage. Brexit WON, remember, you England-hating-want-Germany-to-run-us idiots are very
    much the minority.

    Blessed are "reputational risk committees".

bunch of woke-wannabe scumbags, luckily all been fired/booted now.

The knight in shining armour was busy being a kept man before this hit
him and suddenly became a widely accepted social issue.

The Good MSM says: "Politically exposed means politically exposed!"

That, however, doesn't mean quite what you think it means below. You
have a habit of running away with things.

If I can prove my cash comes from a non-criminal source I can support Brexit, Trump, be friends with Djoker or even make t-shirts about the great leader Mr.Putin if I want and there's ZERO reason for a bank not to give me an account.

    Nice strawman. Nice bashing.

You can't let Moscow fund these guys. Besides, he can continue using the
account he has in Panama. Not a bigus dealus.

you need a bank account to live a regular life,

Many/most people have accounts in different banks. I'm sure Farage has
also. Some in Panama, no doubt. If all else fails, he can always stick
his fingers in Arron Banks' accounts.

you maroon, stop trying to use your dumb argument that you used to use for Twitter pre-Elon Musk, you know the argument you immediately flip-flopped from when Musk took over. Fact is the banks have always always always happily welcomed in drug dealers,

What has Mugabe, Epstein, Weinstein ... have to do with anything? Other
than being similarly shady characters as Farage is.

"A briefing presented to the bank's “reputational risk committee” said >> Farage is considered by many to be a “disingenuous grifter” with

which "many" would that be, got any names/numbers on that one?

I guess you could always start with the names of the members of the reputational risk committee. Then add millions and millions for good
measure, and you're on the mark.

    Pretty fascist bunch these liberals.
I do accept banning because of supporting Djoker though... it's the
worst sort of thought crime really.

I'm sure they have committees for gender and racial equality as well.

UKIP was at some point financed by a Russkie bank, IIRC.

Dumb post. You do understand what kind of bank this is and what kind of clientele it caters for?
