Djokovic conceded that Alcaraz was the better player. Came from the horse's own mouth.

except we all know it rested on one missed drive-volley in the 1st game! personally think best thing of match was Alcaraz winning 2nd set tiebreak, first time Djoker been beaten in one at a slam since the AO and 2021 W.

The sequence of exchanges in that point reveal the kid's character. He did not concede an inch and gave Djokovic a hard time. He punctured Djokovic's confidence and made him miss the drive volley!

In this point, Alcaraz did to Djokovic what djok does to everyone else. These are the little things that start to show up when older players get stretched right and left and are pushed to their max, and usually people don't correlate to anything other
    than failure or mental weakness.
Expect to see more of these kinds of errors when he play Alcaraz or other good younger players that really push him.

Really? A set and a match resting on a single point? Since when has it been the case with champions? Alcaraz overcame a breadstick first set and an initial minibreak in the crucial second set tiebreak, and yet Djokovic couldn't get over missing a
breakpoint and went on to lose the next service game and the set? What kind of champion is that?

That shows true class from Novak. He's a true top tier great. These
guys don't make excuses after a loss as what's the point, it just sounds
like sour grapes. The time to do something about it is on the court.
When the match is over you shake hands and say see you next time.
