Never thought I would write this, but Goran has ended up as a great coach for Djokovic. Djok is playing better now than he ever has IMO, and Goran seems to have helped Djok's game - especially the serve...

will comment anyway. It has been ages since I saw
Goran Ivanisevic play.
He was a lefty while Kyrgios is not, but I guess
that is not important here. I think both players
have a quick service motion and their ball toss
could also be lower than average?
I cannot think of other similarities now.

Let's see if Alcaraz can stop this Djokovic tomorrow.
It sure would make it more interesting if Alcaraz
could stop Djokovic but I have to see it to believe it.

Yes, Novak knew he needed to keep points shorter as he aged and the
obvious strategy was to improve his serving.

I think in many ways Djokovic is playing better now as well. Don't tell PeteWasLucky that though! ;)

Nick has a great serve, but Goran's was superior. That was never a part of the discussion, until now.
Goran still holds the record for most aces in a tennis season, 1,477
in 1996
