Maybe, but his coaching setup is still infinitely preferable to Tsitsipas Dad + Philippoussis…

Everyone needs a coach who's won a slam, why not?

Come to think of it, you're absolutely right, even Djokovic has such coach.

It should be obvious that players, especially young upcoming and talented ones would go after coaches who had won a slam.

It's amazing that e.g. in Murray's case, the Lendl was introduced only after Murray was top player for several years.

Djokovic followed with Becker, Federer with Edberg...

I expected more from Sinner in this match. Really looks like he's
stagnated and not improved at all in 2 years.

I don't think so - put him on court against Alcaraz, and he would like great again. Djoker might be playing at a higher level now than he ever has at any other point in his career - scary prospect. I am pretty sure the scoreline for Djoker would be even
    more lopsided against Alcaraz...

Well logically Novak should be fave with his experience especially on
grass and at Wimbledon, but let's face it this kid is very special, no
surprise if he beats Novak in straights : )

LOL - r u serious? Let's remember that a red-hot Alcaraz huffed and puffed to barely win a single set at the FO (Djoker's worst surface). I think if he is able to take a single set to a tiebreak, he should feel proud of his achievements. But I don't
think he wins more than 3 games in any set in the final (4 if Djoker is feeling a little generous)...
