• I have a feeling

From *skriptis@21:1/5 to All on Fri Jul 7 22:42:39 2023
Djokovic's overhead has improved, even if by a bit.

I'm not saying it because of conversion rate, it's still very mediocre, and conviction and execution is rather careful and timid...

But I feel as if he's closing the ball a bit better?

Finnish commentators, featuring retired Jarkko Nieminen (#13 at his best) that Djoker indeed had below average overhead conversion ratio until about 2014, but after that it has been normal+.

I think Jarkko Nieminen beat Djoker once?

FWIW, two weeks ago I saw the 1959 Finnish/Russian film that has the
title here in the US "Sampo".

    Quite a treat, no kidding.

yes was going to say Djoker's overhead is pretty good these days. Tsitsi's looked better the other day vs Murray though, was quite surprised.

Remember the days when: "Djoker's forehand is not for good" or "Djoker's 2nd serve is liability"

(both above are pro quotes around Djoker's first slam win 2008)

Tsitsi played about as well, and with determination, as I've seen in a
    couple of years.

If he continues to hit the BH with that much confidence, he going to
make me eat my words concerning "weak BH".
