Myllyn Paras pasta recall prompts thousands of complaints
The firm vowed to respond to all complaints, but warned that the process could take months.

A deluge of complaints has congested Myllyn Paras' customer service after the company recalled many several varieties of its pasta products from supermarket shelves, according to Lantmännen Cerealia, Myllyn Paras' marketer.

Customers submitted thousands of complaints to the firm after the food manufacturer warned in mid-June that some of its pasta products may contain small fragments of metal due to damage in the production line.

The company recalled a total of eight of its pasta products.

"We take this case very seriously," Henna Tamminen, Lantmännen Cerealia's quality manager, said in a press release issued on Monday.

The company noted that it was continuing to add new staff to its customer service department in order to process incoming messages about the recall as quickly as possible.

The firm said that all complainants will receive a reply, but that they may take up to a few months to process.

The recall applies to a number of Myllyn Paras pasta products with a best-before date between 15 May 2025 and 11 June 2025. In addition, the recall also includes Täysjyvä Fusilli Makaroni, with a best before date of 9 June 2024.

The company's website has a detailed list of the recalled products.

You are probably too young to remember "KP Tubes", a potato-based
snack, which suffered similar problems and has never been seen since. (Actually, it might have been glass contamination; it was a few
    decades ago.)

Finland is not a developing country like USA.

There are nuances to this, k.

There are shithole countries, for sure. That the US is one of them is
    certain.

Whether a nation is a shithole country has less to do with its level of development than it does with its cultural values and its governance.

The US is, in fact, over-developed to the point of exhaustion; it's used
up, basically. It's like a 40 year old LA party girl.

    TOGETHER WITH

    Today's Topics
Hello! Not much else to say except Happy July 4th for tomorrow, wishing everyone a wonderful day. We'll be back on Wednesday. Today we're exploring:

Think different: Apple continues to scale to new heights.
Ruling: The Supreme Court's latest decisions.
Royal pennies: The Crown Estate of the UK is having a bumper year.

    Think different...

Shares in Apple finished trading just a few cents below $194 on Friday, valuing the entire company at a cool $3.05 trillion — the first company in history to close above the “3T” barrier.

The remarkable run up in Apple shares means that the company has now added a whopping $984bn in market cap just this year, equivalent to gaining the value of 12 Airbnbs, 6 Disneys, 2.3 Walmarts or 122 Ralph Laurens.

    ...but not too different

A long way from the California garage where the company was founded, investors are clearly confident in the ongoing longevity of the iPhone which — as we explored in May — remains the gravity at the center of the Apple galaxy. 16 years since its
release, the device still pulls consumers into other Apple products like high-end accessories, music streaming, TV, tablets, laptops and, in the not-so-distant future, Apple's idea of virtual reality.

Changes to the iPhone tend to be more evolution than revolution these days, and consumers are tending to wait longer before upgrading their model. Apple has navigated the maturing market with the release of the more expensive Pro lineup in 2019, helping
    sales climb higher.

Of course, Apple’s not the only tech company having a good year. Shares in Microsoft, Alphabet (Google), Amazon, Meta and Tesla have all soared in 2023. But no company has had quite as dramatic an ascent as Nvidia. Shares in the company have tripled in
just 6 months — making it the newest member of the $1 trillion club — fueled by bets that the company’s semiconductors will prove to be an essential cog in the AI boom.

    Idiot.

Sawfish is a very rich man he earns about a million per year, he can do whatever he wants.

But he's a patriot to America. He stayed in Portland to fight for himself and his race.

Why did you move to Alaska to avoid diversity?

Diversity is what is fucking up Europe. See France...

For USA it's somewhat different, since not only are you taking some
developed country trash - you're also brain draining rest of the world.
Europe gets mostly the trash...it's costly economically and moreover
    culturally & security-wise.

Finland is still relatively safe country to walk on streets etc. But
that's disappearing quickly, as happened in Sweden some time ago.
