Trump's personal aide and former military valet, Walt Nauta, was also named a co-conspirator in the indictment. Trump allegedly directed Nauta to move and hide approximately 64 boxes of documents at the Mar-a-Lago estate between May 23, 2022, and June 2,
2022, following a May 11, 2022, subpoena for Trump to produce documents.
According to the indictment, classified documents at the estate included information on US nuclear programs and defense and weapons capabilities for the US and foreign countries. Trump allegedly shared some of the information with unauthorized people in
at least two instances at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey.
