Marty Scurll Continues His Search For The Newest Member of Villain
Enterprises; "What The F*** Is AEW?"

Marty Scurll has been hard at work over the past few months, attempting to
find a brand new recruit for his Ring of Honor faction, Villain Enterprises.

The group currently consists of The Villain himself, as well as Brody King
and PCO, who also happen to be the current reigning NWA World Tag Team Champions. The three are also collectively the ROH World 6-Man Tag Team Champions.

This weekend Marty tracked down a potential new member in the Bad Boy Joey Janella, who was honored by the request to join Villain Enterprises, but
had to turn down the offer as he is currently signed with All Elite
Wrestling. Scurll then humorously stated, What the f*** is AEW?

Impact World Champion Brian Cage Makes His Return Following April Injury

After spending nearly the last two months on the shelf, Impact World
Champion Brian Cage made a surprise return to Impact Wrestling on this
Friday nights episode, sending a strong message to his next challenger.

Following an outstanding main event contest that saw X-Division Champion
Rich Swann score a hard-fought victory over both Johnny Impact and Michael Elgin, the Machine made his unannounced return, leaving no one standing.

Cage was injured just minutes into his April 28th title match with Johnny Impact, after taking a Spanish Fly off the entrance ramp to the floor. He
was able to finish the match, going more than ten minutes with the injury,
and was taken to the hospital after the show.

He will defend the Impact World Championship against Michael Elgin at the upcoming Slammiversary pay-per-view in Dallas, TX on Sunday, July 7th.

AEW Trademarks Wednesday Night Dynamite Ahead Of Fall Television Debut

Earlier this week, All Elite Wrestling applied to trademark the term
Wednesday Night Dynamite, potentially answering the much-asked question of which day of the week the fledgling promotion will be airing its upcoming weekly television series.

Just last month in the build-up to Double or Nothing, AEW announced a
bombshell deal in conjunction with industry titan WarnerMedia, which will
bring a weekly two-hour wrestling show to the TNT network for the first
time since World Championship Wrestling was purchased by Vince McMahons WWE.

The group had previously trademarked Tuesday Night Dynamite long before the television deal was announced, and in fact prior to All Elite Wrestling
being officially announced as a whole.

Several reports, most notably one from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter in recent weeks, have confirmed that the show would either land on Tuesday or Wednesday nights beginning this Fall, and that the final decision would
come from WarnerMedia executives.

While an official start date for AEW television has not been announced, it
is certain that the recently announced ALL OUT pay-per-view, set to take
place in Chicago, IL during Labor Day weekend, will be the promotions final event before television tapings begin.

Former WWE 205 Live Superstar TJP Makes Surprise Return To Impact Wrestling

TJP is back in the Impact Zone!

Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion TJ Perkins made a surprise return to
Impact Wrestling this Friday night, answering an open challenge thrown down
by Ace Austin, who is on a warpath trying to rebrand the X-Division in his
own image.

The 34-year-old wrestling veteran signed with WWE in 2016, and was
originally the face of the companys Cruiserweight relaunch in 2016, winning
the 32-man Cruiserweight Classic tournament to become the inaugural
champion.

After dropping the title, he slowly sank into obscurity among the rest of
the WWE 205 Live roster, until being released from his contract earlier
this year.

This is certainly not TJPs first run with Impact Wrestling. He made
sporadic appearances in the X-Division early on in his career including a 20-man gauntlet at the 2004 Victory Road pay-per-view, and a six-man steel
cage match at Lockdown 2006.

He came onboard more full-time in 2013, winning the vacant X-Division Championship working under the gimmick known as Manik, defending the title against the likes of Chris Sabin, Sonjay Dutt, Eric Young, Jeff Hardy,
Austin Aries and Samoa Joe.

TESSA BLANCHARD def. JAKE CRIST // Blanchard was fired up right from the start, taking the fight to Crist with stiff forearm shots and a suicide
dive to the floor, then hit the ring and went for the dive two more times.
She went for an early Magnum but ate a superkick, and Crist slowed things
down. Blanchard tried to fight back several times, eventually hitting a
Tornado DDT off the ropes, a bunch of superkicks, and finally the Magnum to score the win.

All of oVe came out and swarmed the ring, talking a bit of trash to Jake Crist for losing to a woman. Blanchard managed to escape the ring before
they could attack her, and stared a hole through Sami Callihan.

MADMAN FULTON def. EDDIE EDWARDS // Eddie came out while oVe was still in the ring and fought them all off. Fulton chokeslammed him into the apron
early, then stalked him around the ring hitting a second and third
chokeslam. He nearly powerbombed him out to the floor, but Eddie made his comeback for a nearfall, then dove to the floor to take out Callihan with a suicide dive. He looked to put the match away, but Killer Kross appeared on
the tron, somewhere backstage, with a tied up Sandman who he proceeded to waterboard. Seriously. Fulton hit his finisher and got the win.

Alisha Edwards tried to calm her husband down backstage, reminding him of
all the hell they went through with Sami Callihan last year, telling him
not to get involved in something even worse. He took off after Kross
anyways.



MOOSE def. TOMMY DREAMER // Things quickly spilled to the outside with Dreamer removing some of the pads on the floor, but Moose sent him crashing into the apron. The big man controlled several minutes of the match until Dreamer came back and caught him with the Dusty Elbow and big DDT, then
fought him up to the top rope for a superplex. Dreamer snapped and got a
steel chair, but Moose kicked it into his face and stole the match.

The first ever WWE Stomping Grounds pay-per-view airs live this Sunday
evening, June 23rd, from the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington.

Both of the main events for this weekends show are rematches from the WWE
Super Showdown pay-per-view just two weeks ago in Saudi Arabia, with added stipulations. Kofi Kingston will defend the WWE Championship against Dolph Ziggler in a steel cage, while Seth Rollins once again puts the Universal Championship on the line against Baron Corbin, with a mystery special guest referee.

We will have live coverage of the entire event beginning at 6:00 PM ET with
the official one-hour Stomping Grounds Kickoff Show. The main card is
currently scheduled for a four-hour block on the WWE Network immediately followed by a brand new episode of WWE 365 on Alexa Bliss.

Another happy WWE couple has officially tied the knot, as former Sanity
members Nikki Cross and Killian Dain were married this Friday in Glasgow, Scotland.

Nikki has been receiving a solid push as a member of the Monday Night Raw roster since shortly after the Superstar Shakeup, as something of a sidekick for championship contender Alexa Bliss. Meanwhile, with Sanity effectively broken up in the Shakeup, the heavyweight Belfast native has actually returned to the NXT brand.

This is the second WWE wedding this week, as yet another UK star in 205
Live General Manager Drake Maverick (fka Rockstar Spud) was wed to former
Mae Young Classic competitor Renee Michelle on Thursday afternoon.
