Dwayne The Rock Johnson took to social media today to pay tribute to the
late Adrian Lionheart McCallum, who tragically passed away earlier this
week.

So sorry to hear the news of Adrian McCallum’s passing, Rock posted on Twitter, under a photo of Lionheart visiting his star on the Hollywood Walk
of Fame.

He was a big wrestling star in the UK. Loved and respected. Never had the opportunity to shake this man’s hand but sending his family, friends & UK wrestling community love, support & strength.

Drake Mavericks Wedding Ruined, New WWE 24/7 Champion Crowned

We have a new WWE 24/7 Champion! Oh, and also Drake Mavericks wedding has
been completely ruined

The 205 Live General Manager was wed to fellow wrestler Renee Michelle this Thursday night, and it looked like all was well with the happy couples
nuptials until the newly pronounced husband and wife made their way back
down the aisle, and walked headfirst into a WWE referee.

It was at that point that R-Truth surprised the groom, rolled him up, and became the WWE 24/7 Champion for the unprecedented sixth time.

You can check out the footage from Maverick and Renee Michelles wedding (or more than likely, a staged version of their wedding) in the video above,
which features several recognizable individuals including Matt Hardy and
his family, Natalya and TJ Wilson.

Interestingly enough, when they reshot the wedding for WWE they took Braun Strowman, who was legitimately one of the groomsmen for the happy occasion, completely out of the scene. EC3 was shown as the best man, but they had already worked that into storylines.

Punk very rarely discusses wrestling on his social media, but yesterday he opened up a discussion with fans as to why they keep watching the product.

Since I can’t have fun and tweet about movies or baseball without you
telling me about rasslin’, question for you: Why do you spend your time on something you hate? If it’s soooooo bad, leave it. I did. Works wonders. I look forward to the intelligent discourse.

Bullet Club member, Tama Tonga has taken a shot at WWE and The Club ahead
of their tour in Japan next week, telling them to stay out of his territory.

Tonga noted how WWE is coming to Japan with The Club, telling them to stay
out of his territory whilst also questioning why Finn Balor isnt in the
group when he created it.

Kofi Kingston Compares Dolph Ziggler Rivalry To Legendary WWE Feud

WWE Champion, Kofi Kingston recently spoke with Gamespot ahead of WWE
Stomping Grounds where he talked about his feud with Dolph Ziggler.

On Dolph Ziggler being one of his favorite opponents:

“Dolph is one of my favorite opponents, and I almost forgot how much I enjoyed competing against him,” Kingston said. “Over the past few weeks, I’ve been able to do so on some of the live events, and back in 2000, I
think it was 2009 all the way through 2010, we wrestled each other every
single week on Raw and Smackdown, and all the live events; probably a good
500 times. Now we get to go out and do it again after our careers have both gone in different directions, and now we come back and do it again for the
WWE Championship, like that’s really what it’s all about.”

Who their rivalry is like:

“Back in the day, you had Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart going at it for the Intercontinental Championship, and then years, later they were doing the
same thing for the WWE title as well,” Kingston continued.

“Not to put ourselves on the same level as those legends, but that’s really the way I like to think about it is, we were guys who were underrated, undersized, underappreciated, underused, undervalued, and somehow, someway we’ve been able to stay at it and for the past decade, and still be at the top of the game.”

Kingston explains that their story goes deeper than just the physicality of
the cage match, saying “[…] It’s the whole journey that we’ve been through
over the past decade of trying to get to this point, and now we can finally
do it in the steel cage at Stomping Grounds, it’s going to be awesome. It’s going to be a war between us, but from a performer’s perspective I can’t wait, I can’t wait. I feel like we bring out the best in each other, and
the real winners are going to be the fans that get to witness us go at it toe-to-toe, so I’m pretty excited about it.”

Sarah Logan shared the footage of how Dana Brooke was bust open during WWE
Main Event this week, giving her thoughts on the incident.

Logan and Brooke went one-on-one during Main Event, although the match was stopped due to the injury that Brooke suffered after she went head first
into the electronic ring post.

Logan had sent Brookes head into the post with a vicious looking kick, and
on Instagram, she claimed that if she had to do it over, she simply would
have done it slower.

WWE Watch Along Gets New Host For WWE Stomping Grounds

WWE has confirmed that the popular WWE Watch Along show will be taking
place alongside WWE Stomping Grounds this Sunday, but with a new host.

The show which first debuted at WWE WrestleMania 35 will be back on Sunday, with Cathy Kelley replacing Pat McAfee as the host this time around.

Kelley will be joined by a variety of WWE Superstars throughout the night
to watch the PPV, with the likes of Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Dana
Brooke, Booker T and more all being confirmed for the show.

WWE legend, Scotty 2 Hotty was a recent guest on the E&C Pod Of Awesomeness where he discussed the formation of Too Cool and who created their famous dance. Below are some highlights of the interview with a H/T to WrestlingInc.com for the transcriptions.

On the formation of Too Cool:

We floundered as Too Much for quite a while and then I remember, so Hardys
and [Edge and Christian] do [their]thing and the Hardys transform from the young Hardy Brothers with spandex pants we remember them as, Scotty
recalled. And then, they go with Michael Hayes and where the regular pants.
I dont know what to call them, street clothes. And then, [Edge and
Christian] do [their]whole thing with them and then you guys all go and get over. I can remember Vince Russo coming up to me and Brian in the Nassau Coliseum, and said, we want you guys to go out and kind of be like the
Hardys. Whatever you guys think is cool, but youre not cool. That was it.
There was no hip hop. There was no dancing. It was just like, we thought we were cool. Were going to call you Too Cool, but youre really not cool. That
was really the only direction we had.

Who created the dance:

People always go, oh, Rikishi had the stinkface, and Scotty had The Worm,
and Brian didnt really have anything. Well, Brian put together that
three-way dance. He [has]got to get credit for that. Scotty said, he choreographed that whole celebration dance.

Reservations about Rikishi joining:

When Michael Hayes told us, were going to put [Rikishi] with you, I
thought, argh, its awful, it sucks, we got a fat guy in a thong as our
third guy. And the very first night we went out there and did that dance,
it was again magic. Scotty recalled, just magic.
