Its Better Than The Alternative. Heres Why Rusev Has Not Been On WWE TV As
Of Late.

At least he has a good reason. There have been several names missing from
WWE television as of late, to the point where they could probably have
their own promotion. That’s an incredible amount of people to be missing
and some of them seemingly have no reason to be gone. However, one of them does have an excuse and it’s not something that can be blamed on WWE.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rusev has been absent from television as of late because he requested some time off. He is not
injured, nor has WWE intentionally left him off television. Rusev’s most recent match was as part of the battle royal at Super ShowDown, though his
most recent match on SmackDown Live was on April 16. There is no word on
when he will be back regularly.

Opinion: That’s certainly better than WWE not remembering he’s around, though I’m not sure how much room there would be for him on the show
anyway. One of the biggest problems WWE has at the moment is getting
people on television and given how many people show up on both shows, it’s not the easiest thing in the world. Hopefully things get better soon,
because this isn’t working well at the moment.

(VIDEO): Feel The Nostalgia. WWE Releases A Montage Of Their Television Intros.

The history is strong with this one. There are a lot of things that go
into a good wrestling show. You have the wrestling, the promos, the arena
and everything else that goes into making an appealing atmosphere. Before
you get to that though, there is the opening sequence, which is one of the
best ways to set the table available. WWE has had a lot of them and now
it’s time to look back.

On its YouTube page, WWE has released a montage of opening sequences from throughout the company’s history, starting back in the Golden Era and
moving all the way up to the modern age. These are the videos that play at
the very start of the show and are the same for whatever WWE show you are watching, including Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that makes WWE feel like it is on top of
the wrestling world. Their production values and media departments are the best around and have been for a very long time now. With the amount of
video they have from over the years, it makes sense that they are able to produce stuff like this. You really can see how far they have come and it looks awesome every time.

The War Could Be On. Heres The Next Star Involved In An AEW vs. WWE
Bidding War.

He’s on their radar. One of the fun things about independent wrestling is
to see tomorrow’s superstars today. You never know when you might see a major star of the future and as it turns out, there are major companies
looking in on who they might be able to pick up to bolster their roster. Someone on the independent scene has caught the eyes of two major companies.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, both WWE and AEW are
interested in Jacob Fatu, who is currently appearing for MLW. Fatu is a
member of the Anoa’i Family, the nephew of Rikishi, the cousin of the Usos and the son of Tama/Tonga Kid. At the moment, there is no word on whether
Fatu will sign with either promotion, though there is a chance that he will sign somewhere at some point in the future.

Opinion: This is a layup and anyone can see the incredible talent that Fatu has. He is a guy with size, a look and athletic ability. What else can
you ask for, especially with the family history? Fatu is the kind of
talent that WWE knows how to push like no one else, though that’s where AEW makes things interesting. They offer a different place for such a talent
and that can shake things up.

An International Issue. WWE Superstar Might Not Be Medically Cleared For A Pretty Big Show.

Not so fast? WWE is truly an international company with shows taking place
in all kinds of countries throughout the year. These shows are often a
little different than what you get in the American markets with some shows being specialized for wherever they happen to be taking place at the
moment. However, one major match at an upcoming show might not be ready to
go.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AJ Styles is currently not cleared to return to action, though it is said to be very close before he
will be cleared. At the moment, Styles is currently scheduled to team with
the Good Brothers at a show in Sumo Hall in Japan on Friday June 28 against opponents to be named. The match is designed to be a reunion between the
trio, who were part of the Bullet Club in New Japan Pro Wrestling.

The trio was back together on Monday Night Raw. Check out Styles’ not so nice words for the Good Brothers:

Opinion: This is something that could be quite a nice draw for the Japan
show, but the injury could cause some issues. If nothing else, there is a chance to have Styles there as a manager or enforcer or something similar.
Just having him there is what matters most as the trio is going to be considered a big deal. Then maybe he can get back to the main roster in general, where he is rather needed.

Doubling Up? The Next Saudi Arabia Show Could Cause More Problems For WWE.

The hits just keep on coming. WWE is in a weird place at the moment with
its major broadcasting deals. While they wait on the SmackDown Live move
to FOX in October, there is also the major deal with Saudi Arabia, which
has not been very well received by the fans. These deals both bring in a
lot of money, but what would happen if WWE had to choose? We may now know
that answer.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE currently has a live SmackDown Live as well as a Saudi Arabia show scheduled for Friday,
November 1. At the moment, there is no word on what WWE is going to do to address the issue, though there is a possibility of working both shows with
a split crew. There is also the chance of moving the Saudi Arabia show,
though all of them have been held on a Friday so far.

Opinion: How did WWE not see this coming in advance? Didn’t they know that the shows were going to overlap a long time ago? Anyway, the best solution would seem to be changing the Saudi Arabian show as there are other dates
that could accommodate the show. I’d hope we don’t get a split crew show, as the full roster shows are hardly worth seeing in the first place.

Breaking: WWE Star Injured, Could Be Out Six To Nine Months

Another to the injured list. Injuries can be about as devastating in
wrestling as anything else. They can take a wrestler from being on the
verge of moving up the card at a rapid pace to sitting on the sidelines for months at a time. The biggest problem with them can often be how you don’t see them coming, with some of them happening over time instead of in one
big move. Another one seems to have hit WWE and it’s not good.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Lars Sullivan may be out of action until 2020 with a knee injury. Sullivan recently had an MRI done on
the knee and the results could see him requiring six to nine months of
recovery time. There is currently no word on what is specifically wrong
with his knee or when the injury took place. Sullivan’s most recent match came on the June 10 Monday Night Raw when he defeated the Lucha House Party.

Opinion: Egads the bad news continues for Sullivan and this one is just bad
all around. There isn’t much that can be said when you’re out of action that long after two matches, but maybe this is karma coming back on him
after his comments from before he wrestled in WWE. There isn’t much of a good way to spin something like this and hopefully he is back sooner rather than later.

The House is going to need another bedroom. Earlier this week, Matt Hardy announced that he and his wife Rebecca, will be expecting their third
child. The newborn will be joining their other children Maxel and Wolfgang.
