Jon Moxley faced off against Darby Allin at Northeast Wrestlings Brass City Brawl on Friday, June 14. The match saw Moxley tie Allins hands behind his back, before launching into an offensive flurry.

But that did not stop Darby from putting up a fight. Allin continued to
work the match and simply used the rest of his body as a weapon against
Death Rider. This was Moxleys official return to the indie wrestling
circuit and its also the first of five appearances for Northeast Wrestling,

Moxley turned the pro wrestling world upside down when he made his debut
with AEW at Double or Nothing on May 25. The former WWE Superstar came in
after the main event, where he attacked both Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega.

That debut leads to Jons match with Joey Janella at Fyter Fest, as well as
his showdown with Omega at All Out. Moxleys June 14 opponent Darby Allin,
is also AEW bound. The company has landed a national television deal and
will premiere on the TNT Network in October of 2019.

Guerrillas of Destiny vs. The Briscoes Set for Ring of Honor Manhattan
    Mayhem

    Posted: 14 Jun 2019 07:59 PM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/guerrillas-of-destiny-vs-the-briscoes-set-for-ring-of-honor-manhattan-mayhem/

The Guerrillas of Destiny will face The Briscoes for the Ring of Honor
World Tag Team Championships in a New York City Street Fight. The bout has
been announced for Manhattan Mayhem, which will take place in the
Hammerstein Ballroom on Saturday, July 20.

This is just the latest chapter in the violent history between these two
tag teams, which goes back to 2016. Their rivalry includes three
championship changes thus far and the fourth one could be on the way with Manhattan Mayhem.

Both teams have much in common, not the least of which is the loyalty they
show to their respective companies. The Brisoces are Ring of Honor, much in
the same way that The G.O.D. are New Japan Pro Westling. The Briscoes and
The Guerrillas of Destiny are widely considered to be the best tag teams in both companies.

Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa are the current ROH World Tag Team champions, but theyre also the IWGP Tag Team champions as well. The Bullet Club OGs have
been double champions since winning the ROH titles on April 6 at the G1 Supercard.

Ring of Honors Tenille Dashwood Set To Return from Injury

    Posted: 14 Jun 2019 06:46 PM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/ring-of-honors-tenille-dashwood-set-to-return-from-injury/

Ring of Honor star Tenille Dashwood has announced that shes set to return
from injury. The former WWE Superstar made the announcement via Twitter,
where she also thanked the fans for their support.

This is good news for pro wrestling fans, who have been anxious to see
Tenille return to action. Dashwood went on the shelf in September of 2018
with nagging injuries, including a fractured shoulder and torn labrum. She required surgery and has been out of commission since then.

The timing of her injuries could perhaps not have been worse, as she was finally beginning to find her place in ROH. Dashwood was rolling along as a member of the popular faction Lifeblood. The group consists of Bandido,
Mark Haskins and Tracy Williams. Lifeblood is run by former IWGP United
    States champion Juice Robinson.

Now that shes headed back, it will be interesting to see how ROH will
handle her. Kelly Klein is the current Women of Honor champion and it could
be that Tenille will get a shot at the title sooner rather than later.

No words can express how much I’ve missed wrestling and how excited I am to be back in that ring!
I’m officially returning to action late July.

Thank you for the constant love and support! pic.twitter.com/VdT0AsvUbx

WWEs Five Point Monday Night Raw Preview for June 17

    Posted: 14 Jun 2019 05:48 PM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/wwes-five-point-monday-night-raw-preview-for-june-17/

WWE has posted a five-point preview of Monday Night Raw for June 17. Its
the go-home show for Stomping Grounds, which takes place on Sunday, June 23
    in Tacoma, Washington.

WHO WILL DON THE STRIPES FOR ROLLINS VS. CORBIN AT STOMPING GROUNDS?

DANIEL BRYAN IS A WILD CARD

    GREAT EXPECTATIONS FOR R-TRUTH

    TOP GUYS ONCE AGAIN

COULD A WOMANS RIGHT BRING US BECKY NO BELTS?

Rollins versus Corbin is a match that many WWE fans want nothing to do
with, but its happening nonetheless. WWE is attempting to generate some interest in this feud with the special guest referee gimmick at Stomping Grounds,. But it may not be enough to change anyones mind about this
    rivalry.

Daniel Bryan is one of four Wild Cards set for Raw. The SmackDown Tag Team champion will appear on the red brand, though its unknown what he will do
when Monday Night Raw goes live. Its also unknown if his tag team partner, Erick Rowan, will be by his side on June 17.

R-Truth continues along his usual comedic path as the 24/7 champion. Truth
has been the center of attention for this newly created championship, as
hes struggled to stay ahead of the pack thats anxious to pin him wherever
they can. R-Truth is supposedly en route to Los Angeles, hiding along with
the rest of the shows equipment.

The Revival is back on top as the new Raw Tag Team champions. Scott Dawson
and Dash Wilder have been the focus of one bad joke after another on Monday nights, but now the duo is finally getting some serious spotlight. Theyve become henchmen for Shane McMahon and that role could lead to bigger things
    as time goes on.

Becky Lynch versus Lacey Evans is another match that many WWE fans simply
dont care about right now. Thats due to the fact that The Man has already tapped out Evans, who is arguably not the right contender for the Raw
Womens Championship. The two women are sure to cross paths on the Raw
before their match at Stomping Grounds.

Stone Cold Steve Austin to Interview AEW President Tony Khan

    Posted: 14 Jun 2019 04:48 PM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/stone-cold-steve-austin-to-interview-aew-president-tony-khan/

WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin will interview AEW President Tony Khan. The interview will happen on Stone Colds podcast, The Steve Austin
Show, which returns on June 18.

This is surely good news for AEW fans, who continue to follow Khan in the press. AEWs President has been a very vocal spokesman for his company,
which ran its first event with May 25s Double or Nothing. The next two
events, Fyter Fest and Fight for the Fallen, will take place on June 29 and July 13, respectively.

But its the August 31 event that has everyone talking. All Out sold out in
15 minutes, once again making history for the new promotion. There has
already been some controversy over the sell-out however, as more than
65,000 people were left in the que without tickets, while tickets suddenly began appearing on the secondary market at inflated prices.

Austins interview with Khan could spark a different news story, as it seems that anyone within an arms length of AEW is supposedly interested in
joining the company. While Austin is long since retired, the fact is that
hes not currently doing any sort of work on TV for WWE.

Of course that does not mean hes headed to AEW, which is something that pro wrestling fans will surely discuss, just as they discuss the fate of anyone outside of Tony Khans company.

Mark Henry Believes CM Punk Will Be Back in Pro Wrestling

    Posted: 14 Jun 2019 04:05 PM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/mark-henry-believes-cm-punk-will-be-back-in-pro-wrestling/

WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry recently spoke on former Superstar CM Punk.
Henrys comments came during an episode of Sirius XMs Busted Open, when he
was asked if he thought The Second City Saint would ever be back in pro wrestling.

I do and the biggest part of me saying that is that I know how much he
loves wrestling. The issue with wrestling and Punk is that there are guys out there, in the wrestling world, outside the WWE at that time, like Colt Cabana, who is really, really good and who I like and I like to hear him on the microphone. I mean, theres no weakness. And he (Punk) felt like wow,
that guy cant get a shot?'

Mark compared the situation to that of a basketball team, whose starting
five should be better than the seven players sitting on the bench. Punk
couldnt understand why certain less deserving guys got a shot, while
    others, like Cabana, could not.

Henry was then asked whether he could sum up CM Punk as a talent in the
ring and The Worlds Strongest Man answered without hesitation.

Punk was very competitive. He knew who was on the card. He did not want to have a match where oh, were going to dumb it down because we should let them have the ring. That didnt exist with CM Punk. Punk was like, were
gonna go out here and steal it.

Punk is a coach, If he works with a guy thats not as experienced as him, hes gonna be like open your ears, were gonna kill this. He gives you confidence in the ring.

AEW fans are buzzing right now over the prospect of Punk making a surprise debut with the company at August 31s All Out event. All Out takes place at
the Sears Centre in Punks hometown of Chicago. But there has been no
indication from AEW, or Punk, as to his involvement in the sold out event.

LOOK: Charlotte Flair Drives the Pace Car for the Coca-Cola 600

    Posted: 14 Jun 2019 03:44 PM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/look-charlotte-flair-drives-the-pace-car-for-the-coca-cola-600/

WWE has posted a video of Charlotte Flair driving the pace car for the Coca-Cola 600. The race happened on May 26 in Flairs hometown at the
    Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Nascar drivers and fans rallied around Charlotte, who was advertised as the nine-time Womens champion. That stat in particular is an important one for
WWE fans, as its drawing closer to Ric Flairs record of 16 world
    championships.

Many believe its only a matter of time until Charlotte breaks that record.
The conversation regarding Rics 16 titles took on a different tone when
John Cena tied the record. Then the question became whether or not Cena
    would hit number 17.

But considering the fact that John is now practically retired, it could be
that Charlotte will indeed be the one to break the record. Its a milestone
that some would argue she doesnt deserve, while others say it wont mean as
much since all of her titles come from one company and one promoter.

However theres no doubt that Charlotte Flair has put in the work and its
clear that WWE is firmly behind her as one of the top stars in the company.

Chris Jericho Takes Credit for AEWs All Out Selling Out in 15 Minutes

    Posted: 14 Jun 2019 03:21 PM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/chris-jericho-takes-credit-for-aews-all-out-selling-out-in-15-minutes/

AEWs All Out event scheduled for August 31 sold out in 15 minutes on June
    14. This comes just weeks after the companys sold out Double or Nothing
event, which saw Chris Jericho defeat Kenny Omega in the main event.

Now Chris Jericho is taking full credit for this latest sellout, just as he took credit for Double or Nothing.

Dont forget why you sold out in 15 minutes. Dont forget why AEW is the
hottest wrestling company in the world today. Dont forget why its even in existence in the first place. Its because of Chris Jericho. its because of me.

Jericho then said he wanted his thank you, which echos his words from
Double or Nothing. But Chris now wants that thank you for everything, not
just for one event. He wants everyone to know that hes the reason for it
    all.

Jericho is obviously in character here, just as hes been every time hes
taken credit for AEWs success to this point. But theres no denying that his star power alone has been enough for many pro wrestling fans to take notice
of AEW, which is something that the company surely hopes continues in the future.
