    MLW issued the following:

    For Immediate Release

Injustice hits Dallas this Saturday in tag action against Gringo Loco & Air Wolf

Advisory: tickets in limited quantities available for MLWs Dallas debut

Major League Wrestling today announced Injustices Myron Reed & Kotto Brazil vs. Gringo Loco & Air Wolf for MLW: War Chamber at the NYTEX Sports Centre in the greater Dallas/Ft. Worth area this Saturday September 7.

The event will be a MLW FUSION TV taping for beIN SPORTS.

Tickets start at $10 at http://www.MLWTickets.com.

The #Injustice movement made a statement last week on FUSION in a thrilling trios match against Gringo Loco, Air Wolf and Zenshi (WATCH). Now, Gringo
Loco and Air Wolf hope to reverse Injustices fortunes as the four square
off in tag team competition in Dallas.

Reed, Jordan Oliver and Kotto Brazil protesting biased officiating and
unfair treatment only to flagrantly break the rules in several encounters against Gringo Loco.

Now Gringo Loco and Air Wolf look to silence the Injustice movement in what promises to be a fast moving bout between four high fliers.

Will Gringo Loco and Air Wolf triumph or will Injustice prevail?

Find out live this Saturday, September 7 in Dallas! LIMITEDTickets
    available at MLWTickets.com.

Major Backstage Changes to WWE Raw & Smackdown Creative Teams

    Posted: 05 Sep 2019 07:52 AM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/major-backstage-changes-to-wwe-raw-smackdown-creative-teams/

There have been some major shakeups to the WWE creative teams for Monday
Night Raw and Smackdown Live, ahead of the blue brands impending jump to
    the FOX network this October.

On the Smackdown side of things, lead writer Ryan Ward is off the team at least for now after asking for time off from the company, per Wrestling Observer Radio. This weeks show was written by Vince McMahon on Monday and Tuesday afternoon, which isnt unusual as reports of McMahon tearing up the script have become somewhat commonplace.

To replace him, WWEs veteran Vice President of Creative Writing Ed Koskey
has been moved to the Smackdown side and will be working directly with Eric Bischoff going forward. Jonathan Baeckstrom, who has been the head writer
for 205 Live for the last three years, will take over as head writer for
the Raw brand working with Paul Heyman.

This has been noted before, but it bears repeating. Because of the nature
of talent appearing on both brands, and Raw and Smackdown being largely similar, interchangeable shows, the writing teams have also had to remain fluid.

However, the plan is to hold a new WWE Draft this October after Smackdown
moves to FOX and at that point, the writing teams as well as the rosters,
will be kept apart with different visions for each show. Theoretically.

Kurt Angle Believes Chad Gable Will Win King Of The Ring

    Posted: 05 Sep 2019 06:56 AM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/kurt-angle-believes-chad-gable-will-win-king-of-the-ring/

WWE Hall Of Famer and former King of the Ring winner, Kurt Angle has made
his pick for who he thinks will win the tournament this year.

The two semifinals are set for the upcoming episodes of WWE Raw and
SmackDown Live at Madison Square Gardens, with the two matches being as follows:

Samoa Joe vs Baron Corbin vs Ricochet (Raw)
    Chad Gable vs Elias (SmackDown)

According to Kurt Angle, there is only one winner, with the wrestling
legend choosing Chad Gable as his pick for who will earn the crown at WWE
    Clash Of Champions.

Angle had plenty of praise for Gable after he defeated Andrade this week, stating that he isnt an underdog as he always knew how talented Gable was
but now he is getting the chance to showcase it.

To me, @WWEGable was never an underdog. I knew early on how great he is,
and was. He’s now getting the opportunity to prove how f’ing great he truly is. They say he’s the next Kurt Angle. He is not!!!! He’s Chad Gable, and he’s gonna win King of the Ring!!!! #itstrue #KOTR2019

Steve Austin Defends Ric Flairs Drinking At Raw Reunion: "I Saw Him Nurse
    Two Or Three Bud Lights"

    Posted: 05 Sep 2019 06:29 AM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/steve-austin-defends-ric-flairs-drinking-at-raw-reunion-i-saw-him-nurse-two-or-three-bud-lights/

During the latest episode of the Steve Austin Show, the WWE Hall Of Famer defended Ric Flair for drinking at the Raw Reunion earlier this year. Below
are some highlights from the podcast with a H/T to WrestlingInc.com for the transcriptions.

Austin had spoken previously about how he and Ric Flair were up late
drinking during the weekend of the Raw Reunion, which led to some negative responses from the fans due to Flairs health. However, Austin has revealed
that the Nature Boy kept himself in check.

Yeah, I was talking about the RAW reunion a little bit and I said, man, I
was down there at the bar with Flair and Flair was telling stories, so if Flairs telling stories, Im not going to tap out. Im going to keep drinking!
And then, people started jumping on [Flairs] ass saying, well, Ric Flairs
not supposed to be drinking. I saw [Flair] nurse about two or three Bud
Lights and Bud Light is about as light as you can get in the alcohol
category. And [Flair] nursed them all night long. Austin continued, well,
let me tell you something about the next day. I was kind of hungover the
next day because I always pace myself here at the house, but [Flair was] telling stories all night long. [Flair] was kind of holding court. I was
like a parrot. I was right behind [Flair], damn near on [Flairs] right
shoulder laughing my ass off. And every time I would give the guy the
signal to bring me another margarita or another Jack and Coke or another
beer he didnt make a margarita worth a st so anyway, I kept rotating all
    my different alcohols.

Austin went on to talk about how he lost his voice before he hit the ring during the Raw Reunion due to how much talking he had done throughout the
    day:

By the time I showed up at Monday Night RAW, I had stayed up so late with [Flair] two nights in a row. And then, [Flair] brought in this cast of characters, Austin recalled. And by the time we got to the RAW reunion, I
was talking to the WWE Superstars for like eight hours before we went on
air. By the time I went out to go cut my promo, my voice was basically gone because I had partied too hard with [Flair] and then talked my voice out,
so I effed myself is what I did.

Stone Cold will be returning to WWE Raw this week where he will host a
contract signing between Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman for their WWE
Clash Of Champions match for the Universal Championship.

Chris Jericho Reveals Pac & Kenny Omega Were Not Happy With Their ALL OUT
    Match

    Posted: 05 Sep 2019 05:33 AM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/chris-jericho-reveals-pac-kenny-omega-were-not-happy-with-their-all-out-match/

During the latest episode of Talk Is Jericho, the first-ever AEW World Champion, Chris Jericho discussed ALL OUT in great detail, giving backstage stories.

One thing that he revealed during the podcast was that Kenny Omega and PAC
were not happy with how their match went down as they had to cut a bunch of ideas.

Afterwards, both Kenny and Pac were mad because their match went too long
and they ran out of time and had to cut a bunch of stuff and they were not happy about it, meanwhile its the best match on the show. They remind me so much of Eddie Guerrero.

Jericho also addressed reports that have claimed the ladder match should
have gone on last, disagreeing with that belief.

The World Title match is the World Title match and thats why you put guys
in there that can have a World Title match. What is a true World Title
match? It should have story, intensity, it should have some viciousness and
it should be between two men fighting for the biggest prize in the sport,
and if you cant put that on last, then you shouldnt be a champion. Any
person in this business, any performer in AEW, their goal should be to be
    the champion.

    Is Jericho.

Carmella Reveals Why She Has Been Absent From WWE Recently

    Posted: 05 Sep 2019 04:45 AM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/carmella-reveals-why-she-has-been-absent-from-wwe-recently/

In a recent post on her Instagram account, Carmella revealed why she has
been out of the ring lately taking time away from the company.

Carmella, who has mainly been used in segments alongside R-Truth lately,
stated on Instagram that she has been dealing with a health scare that she claims has rocked her world.

While she didnt go into detail on what her injury is or how long she will
be gone for, Carmella did state that the time away has helped open her eyes
to other things in the world and that the break has been beneficial for her
    as a person.

I recently had a health scare that shook my world. I was super
apprehensive (still am) to post about it because I’m not looking for any
sort of sympathy. Instead, I wanted to share what this past month has
taught me. You might find my perception to be trivial and unimportant, but these are my thoughts. For the first time in six years I was forced to
slow down. I’ve never had an injury with time off or anything of the sort since I started with WWE. I was able to slow down for a few weeks and just
be. It opened my mind and my eyes to the world I didn’t notice for six
years and allowed me to be present instead of worrying about the next thing
on my to do list. I took a break from social media and it really allowed
me to live in the moment and see what was right in front of me. I had conversations with people I would have normally never seen because my head would be buried in my phone. More importantly, social media is not real.
The fact that I at one point or another would get bothered by a few crass comments made by presumptuous ill mannered trolls makes me laugh now. It’s all so insignificant at the end of the day. Do these trolls care about my health and well being? Are they the ones who will be there for me when shit hits the fan? Hell no. So why would I care what people on an app in my
phone have to say about me? I s
