IMPACT Wrestling & Killer Kross At Standstill

PWInsider is reporting that Impact Wrestling officials have been at an
impasse with Killer Kross. Kross reportedly refused to blade in his First
Blood match with Eddie Edwards at Slammiversary, which led to a rush to
find fake blood on the day of the show.

Kross asked for his release earlier this year, seeking better financial compensation from IMPACT. Kross has noted that he likes everyone in the company, but ultimately felt intimidated by the contract negotiation.
Krosss current deal has him on a pay-per-appearance fee, which means that
he hasnt been paid, as he hasnt been booked by IMPACT since Slammiversary. Kross is however legally bound to them, regardless of compensation.

Kross is allowed to work for other promotions, as long as they are not nationally televised. Kross had been working many appearances from AAA in Mexico, but word is that Kross is being kept from wrestling at AAAs
upcoming show at Madison Square Gardens Hulu Theater in Manhattan. Krosss t-shirts have been moved to the clearance section of IMPACT Wrestlings
store.

this Saturday in Dallas

The lone wolf of Brooklyn doesnt forget and come this Saturday in Dallas,
Low Ki will finally get his chance to unleash payback on CONTRA Unit as he joins rival Tom Lawlor and the Von Erich boys in the War Chamber against CONTRA.

Major League Wrestling today announced Low Ki as the 4th member of Tom Lawlor and Ross & Marshall Von Erichs team against CONTRA Unit in a War Chamber at MLW: War Chamber at the NYTEX Sports Centre in the greater Dallas/Ft. Worth area this Saturday September 7.

The event will be a MLW FUSION TV taping for beIN SPORTS.

Spreading fear and terror throughout Major League Wrestling, CONTRA Unit emerged this spring with random attacks on a whos who of wrestlers in MLW including one Low Ki.

Attacking Low Ki after a Promociones Dorado tag team bout with Ricky
Martinez, CONTRA Unit took down Low Ki in shocking fashion.

In the aftermath Low Ki would experience an awakening. Knocking out all in
his path since the CONTRA attack, Low Ki quickly shredded his former
associates at Promociones Dorado and quickly reemerged as a knockout artist
and threat to all.

While many wondered if and when Low Ki would put CONTRA in his crosshairs,
no one could predict Low Ki would be the man to save the day on FUSION this past week.

Entering the fray on this weeks episode of Fusion (WATCH), Low Ki would
even the odds and help his rival Tom Lawlor and the Von Erich boys battle
back against CONTRA in shocking fashion.

Now Low Ki officially enters into an unlikely alliance with Lawlor and the
Von Erichs as they ready for battle this Saturday in Dallas against CONTRA
Unit in the first-ever War Chamber.

What is the WAR CHAMBER?

Locked in a carbon steel chamber with the perimeter of the top fortified
with barbed wire, two teams of four will clash in combat that only the War Chamber can contain.

The rules of the War Chamber:

A coin toss determines which team enters first.
1-on-1 for 5:00 in stage 1 of the War Chamber.
The winner of coin toss comes out for 2-on-1.
Alternating teams have wrestlers enter every 2 minutes.
Once all combatants are in the War Chamber, victory is won by submission, surrender or pinfall.

During his recent Starrcast lll appearance, CM Punk heaped praise on John
Cena for allowing him to be totally creative in their rivalry. The sit-down interview was shown on FITE TV, and below are some highlights of that with

On Cena allowing him to do whatever he wanted:

I always liked working with John because again, it was easy. And I think
John was in a position where he was almost kind of glad somebody else came
in and forcibly like took the reins, recalled the former WWE Champion, I think John was stoked that he didnt have to be that guy directing traffic.
And he let me do whatever the fuck I wanted. So, I think he was relieved.
But, I also think thats how we worked together really well, you know?

Punk also went on to discuss how he was the first man to break down Cenas traditional comeback:

 I was the first guy to be like, why does everybody always take their
shoulder like, you know, what the fucks going to happen! Like, why do you
let him do [the You Cant See Me motion]to you without fucking kicking him
in the head?, he says. So, like, it was really like I broke down the John Cena comeback, like in a logical way. And he was just kind of like, this is great. Nobodys ever done this before. You know?

The Rock Praises Arn Andersons ALL OUT Run In

WWE legend, The Rock was full of praise for Arn Anderson this weekend
following his run-in during ALL OUTs match between Cody Rhodes and Shawn Spears.

Double A hit the ring during the match to deliver an emphatic spinebuster
to Spears while the official was distracted by Tully Blanchard and MJF fighting, in a moment that received one of the shows biggest pops.

The Rock took to Twitter to comment on the moment, claiming it was so much
fun for the crowd, adding that there is nobody better delivering the move, whilst also praising the call by Jim Ross.

“It’s humanly impossible in this moment. It was like wrestling in a sauna, it really was. And there was those moments like when you step out of a
sauna and you’re like ‘jeez, I’m lightheaded I might pass out’ – it was so
ridiculously hot. And you put pressure on yourself and everything on top of that, so it’s a lot.”

On negative fans:

“But yet if they saw Goldberg or ‘Taker they would be like in awe and speechless. It’s just the craziest thing.”

Triple H went on to say that people would say negative things online about wrestlers, but they would love to meet them in real life.

Ryback Reveals What He Thinks Will Happen If AEW Beats NXT In The Ratings

During the latest instalment of the Conversations With The Big Guy podcast, Ryback gave his thoughts on the upcoming Wednesday night wars. Below are
some highlights with a H/T to WrestlingInc.com for the transcriptions.

On what will happen if AEW beats NXT in the ratings:

WWE is not going to want to lose this one way or another because NXT is a reflection of the WWE brand. It is WWE, so I dont know how long they keep
the current format but I think if they go in, I think they are going to be shocked if they go into the losing end in all of this, said Ryback. If they
do, I wouldnt be shocked at all if they do switch the format where they record NXT on a Raw or SmackDown brand and they adjust things where they
have the big crowd currently there. I think they will definitely look for something if they think they are losing because of the live audience. They
are not going to want to keep losing in the ratings, I know that
much. Vince McMahon is very highly competitive so I think they are looking
at it like this is a good way to slow down AEW with NXT.

On WWE not being happy about AEW taking Jericho & Moxley:

I think its good for pro wrestling in general because they are not going to have an easy ride in all of this. WWE is not going to make it easy for them
and they shouldnt, why would they? Its very personal with Cody Rhodes,
Hunter and Vince McMahon and him leaving and how everything went down with that, stated Ryback. They arent going to just sit back and say, okay, you
have already taken two of our biggest stars in Chris Jericho and Jon
Moxley, theres no way WWE is happy about that that two of their top guys
have left for another company and again, them having the majority of the
roster is from the independents they are going to have a real challenge on their hands.

for Gallus, they are hoping it means a trip to Scotland.

Yeah, I think you can pretty much guess what Im going to go for, Coffey said. I would take the Hydro in Glasgow any day!

Wolfgang then went into further detail, agreeing with Mark, even picking
where he would like to perform.

Same. Just for the capacity, I would take the Hydro but the Barrowlands is always going to be one of my favorites, Wofgang said. If we could have even
a taping in there. TakeOver in the Hydro and go to the Barras for the
taping. Weve got to try and sell it [SSE Hydro] out!

Baron Corbin wasnt pleased with WWEs decision to put both Samoa Joe and Ricochet in the King of the Ring semi-final with him next week.

Corbin defeated Cedric Alexander in order to progress to next weeks
semi-final match, and in the second quarter-final, Samoa Joe and Ricochet
ended up beating each other with a double pinfall at the same time.

The decision was made for both Ricochet and Joe to move forward, making the semi-final for the WWE Raw side a triple threat match next week, and Corbin
was not happy about that choice.
