AEW Sells Out Boston & Philadelphia TV Tapings, Big Title Matches Announced

    Posted: 16 Aug 2019 10:00 AM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/aew-sells-out-boston-philadelphia-tv-tapings-big-title-matches-announced/

Tickets went on sale this morning for All Elite Wrestlings second and third television tapings in Boston and Philadelphia, and have now both sold out.

Its possible that reserve seating could be opened up at a later date for
either show, after they have had a chance to map out the set and production space necessary, but at this time that has yet to be confirmed.

It looks like the first three weeks of AEW television are going to be absolutely stacked with some incredible matches, which likely helped the
quick sell-outs of all three shows, including the TNT debut in Washington
    D.C.

The October 9 taping in Boston will feature Shawn Spears vs. Jon Moxley,
and the start of the AEW World Tag Team Championship tournament, with the
Young Bucks facing off against Private Party.

The October 16 taping in Philadelphia will be a huge one, with the first defense of the AEW World Championship which will either be held by Chris Jericho or Hangman Page as well as the very first defense of the AEW World Womens Championship, which will be decided on the first day of television
    in Washington D.C.

AAA Moves Upcoming Madison Square Garden Event to Hulu Theater, Top Matches Announced

    Posted: 16 Aug 2019 09:30 AM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/aaa-moves-upcoming-madison-square-garden-event-to-hulu-theater-top-matches-announced/

The future of AAAs upcoming show at Madison Square Garden has been a great subject of speculation in recent weeks, due to ticket sales for the event
being incredibly slow just one month before the show is set to take place
    in New York.

AAA has now officially confirmed that the show has been moved to the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden, which seats about 5,700 people. According
to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, only about 2,000 tickets have been
sold so far, but with the top matches now being announced, the hope is that business will pick up.

Headlining the event will be a rematch from the recent Triplemania main
event, where Blue Demon Jr. put his legendary mask up against the hair of
his great rival Dr. Wagner Jr.

Tessa Blanchard will also defend her newly won Reina de Reinas Championship against Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie.

AAA Invading New York will take place on Sunday, September 15 and will air
on pay-per-view through FITE TV. Other stars announced for the show include
La Parka, Rey Fenix and Pentagon Jr., Taurus, Psycho Clown and Texano Jr.

Matt Striker Talks Learning From Vince McMahon, Why He Teaches Seminars

    Posted: 16 Aug 2019 06:40 AM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/matt-striker-talks-learning-from-vince-mcmahon-why-he-teaches-seminars/

Former WWE commentator, Matt Striker recently spoke with Fightful.com where
he talked about who he learned from during his time in WWE.

On who he learned from in WWE:

The thing I’m noticing is that a lot of people don’t realize there are so many elements and aspects. People call it a business. I didn’t get into a business. I got into a sport. Then I realized there’s a business side to
it. As far as other wrestlers trying to do it, it’s not easy. And I’m fortunate to have gone to the Harvard of pro wrestling. Whether you like
them or not—WWE. I learned from Vince McMahon. I learned from Kevin Dunn. I learned from Triple H, from Arn Anderson, from William Regal, from Dean Malenko. That’s an education that cannot be replicated.

    Why he teaches seminars:

I love doing the seminars. And I like to break it down to one simple
question for all. It goes beyond wrestling, this goes out for people. Why?
Why are you doing this? Why are you making this decision? Why are you
allowing something to have control over you? Rob Van Dam and Jerry Lynn
just did a panel, and Rob talked about mental health and talked about depression. To me, when you give something power to impact your life, that
to me is a choice. So finding out why we make these choices is so vital to
me and the seminars are a great way for me to disseminate that information, said the former school teacher.

Tyler Bate Talks Facing WALTER, Dream WWE Opponents, Advice He Got from DX

    Posted: 16 Aug 2019 06:11 AM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/tyler-bate-on-facing-walter-advice-from-triple-h-hbk-who-are-his-dream-opponents/

Tyler Bate recently spoke with Talk Sport to hype the upcoming NXT UK
Takeover: Cardiff event where he discussed his main event match with WALTER.

    On facing WALTER:

I don’t really want to tell fans what to expect from the main event. I don’t want to ruin any surprises. But, they can expect the absolute best quality professional wrestling they have ever seen.I honestly love working
with WALTER. He’s an amazing opponent. I was always looking forward to one day having a main event calibre match with him.

Working with Triple H & Shawn Michaels:

They’ve been a massive help. Me especially, I feel like they’ve had a huge impact on my growth as a performer. Being around them has made me a much
more emotional performer, rather than just another wrestler who can do
moves. That’s the biggest, most important difference they’ve made. I feel like right now, I’m the best performer I’ve ever been.

    His dream WWE opponents:

I feel like Cesaro is an obvious one. That would be a fun match to play
with. I’d like to do Finn Balor and maybe something a bit unique as well, maybe a Bray Wyatt, The Fiend. You know what, give me Shane McMahon as
well! That would cetainly be fun. We could do this all day, me and Brock
Lesnar would be fun as well.
