    Posted: 04 Jun 2019 10:09 AM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/eli-drake-leaving-impact-wrestling-today-i-am-officially-a-free-agent/

Former-IMPACT World Champion Eli Drake took to Twitter to announce that he
is leaving the company after 4 years. Drake had nothing but kind words for
the promotion, saying he appreciate[s]the chance that was taken on the Maryland-born wrestler.

After 4 years with Impact Wrestling, some ups, some downs, I would like to thank them for the overall great experience. Through those years, I had the fortune of carrying 3 different title belts, having my own talk show (Fact of Life), and was always given the trust to craft my own promos, virtually from day 1. I appreciate the chance that was taken on me and the trust I was given, as well as the friends and experiences I gained along
the way. I wish Impact Wrestling nothing but continued success and growth
    going forward.

Today, I am OFFICIALLY a FREE AGENT

Jon Moxley Arrives At The NJPW Dojo Ahead Of Upcoming In-Ring Return

    Posted: 04 Jun 2019 05:23 AM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/jon-moxley-arrives-at-the-njpw-dojo-ahead-of-upcoming-in-ring-return/

This Wednesday, Jon Moxley will compete in his very first match since
leaving WWE behind, and shocking the world with his surprise debut in the closing moments of AEW Double or Nothing.

Moxley has officially arrived at the NJPW Dojo in Tokyo, where he is
training for his upcoming match against IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Champion
Juice Robinson a man who has become innately familiar with the hallowed
halls of the Dojo over the course of his run with the promotion.

The history between Moxley and Robinson goes back years to their time
together in FCW, and later NXT, back when they were known as Dean Ambrose
    and CJ Parker.

Years later, the former is on his way out of WWE a house hold name, a
former world champion and one third of one of the most famous factions in
the history of the business. But Juice, the reigning IWGP U.S. Champion, is looking to prove that he has also evolved since their days together in developmental.

The bout goes down this Wednesday during the NJPW Best of the Super Juniors finals at the historic Ryugoku Sumo Hall. The entire event will be
broadcast live on NJPW World with English commentary, kicking off at 5:30
    AM ET.

WATCH: Bray Wyatt Introduces Demon Vince & Huskis the Pig Boy In New
    Firefly Fun House

    Posted: 04 Jun 2019 05:10 AM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/bray-wyatt-debuts-demon-vince-huskis-the-pig-boy-in-new-firefly-fun-house/

Yowie Wowie its a brand new episode of Firefly Fun House!

Bray Wyatt is back to continue his weekly psychotic break, and this time
around hes introduced a brand new character called Huskis the Pig Boy.

This chocolate-eating stuffed pig is clearly a take on his own Husky Harris character during his original run in WWE, as Bray has to keep a Demon Vince McMahon puppet from firing him, claiming that Huskin will get his act
together before breaking into a song-and-dance number called the Muscle Man Dance.

After getting down and funky with Demon Vince and some of his other
reoccurring characters, the clearly deranged Wyatt ends the episode by
striking familiar Hulk Hogan poses with a newly reformed Huskis the Pig Boy.

Trevor Lee, Bugenhagen Among Several NXT Superstars Getting A Name Change

    Posted: 03 Jun 2019 11:25 PM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/trevor-lee-bugenhagen-among-several-nxt-superstars-getting-a-name-change/

Five NXT Superstars have been given new names, according to a report from PWInsider, including a former X-Division Champion and an exciting
talent that had been electrifying crowds at live events over the past few months.

Trevor Lee, 25, has made a name for himself on the independent scene over
the last five years including championships won with both PWG and Chicagos
AAW promotion. He had a successful run with Impact Wrestling winning the X-Division title three times, as well as the Impact Tag Team Championships, before signing with NXT.

Lee will now be going by the name Cameron Grimes, potentially a tribute to
    home city Cameron, North Carolina.

Eric Bugenhagen is now Rik Bugez. He was incredibly popular for about two
weeks of NXT television during the taping after WrestleMania, and got over
at live events, but hasnt been seen much since, which means the gimmick may have been a one-and-done.

Other name changes include Adrian Jaudo, who is now Arturo Ruas, as well as Jessie Elaban and Luke Menzies, who are now Jessi Kamea and Ridge Holland, respectively.

Undertaker Finishes His Promo After WWE Raw Goes Off The Air

    Posted: 03 Jun 2019 10:43 PM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/undertaker-finishes-his-promo-after-wwe-raw-goes-off-the-air/

Monday Night Raw went off the air in a hurry this week, as the legendary Undertaker was only given about five minutes to make his iconic walk to the ring and deliver a promo to sell his upcoming match against Goldberg at WWE Super Showdown.

The Phenoms final words on Raw were an echo of Goldbergs own long-time catchphrase Youre next! before the show was quickly taken off the air.
WWE cameras continued to roll, however, picking up the very end of
Undertakers message, before he made the long walk back up the entrance ramp.

Check out the video below. As a reminder, Goldberg will be appearing for
the first time ever on Smackdown Live this Tuesday night in order to
respond to the Deadman. The two will face off in a first-time encounter on Friday at WWE Super Showdown in Saudi Arabia.

NJPW Super Juniors Finals Match Card & Preview: The Finals, Jon Moxley
    Debuts, Tanahashi Returns & More

    Posted: 03 Jun 2019 09:34 PM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/njpw-super-juniors-final-match-card-preview-the-finals-jon-moxley-debuts-tanahashi-returns-more/

New Japan Pro-Wrestling returns to the historic Ryogoku Sumo Hall on
Wednesday, June 5th for the 2019 Best of the Super Juniors Finals. The show will be broadcast on NJPW World starting at 5:30 AM ET with English
commentary from Kevin Kelly, among others. Below is the final match card released by NJPW earlier this evening, as well as a full preview for the
    event.

DRAGON LEE, TITAN & SHOTA UMINO vs. BANDIDO, JONATHAN GRESHAM & REN NARITA

The junior heavyweight division has essentially been split into two blocks
for the last three weeks, which means that this will be the first time
since the start of the tournament that stars from the A Block will get the chance to mix it up with stars from the B Block. In this case IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion Dragon Lee (A Block, 14 points) and Titan (A, 6) will
team up with Young Lion Shota Umino to take on Bandido (B, 10), Jonathan Gresham (A, 8), and Young Lion Ren Narita (B, 0) for a fast-paced six-man
tag team match to kick off the show.

RYUSUKE TAGUCHI, SHO & YOH vs. TAIJI ISHIMORI, EL PHANTASMO & ROBBIE EAGLES

Teammates reunite! IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Champions SHO (A, 10) and
YOH (B, 12) are back together with a little help from the Coach, Ryusuke Taguchi (B, 12) who just narrowly missed making the tournament finals.
Theyll team up against a brand new collective of young Bullet Club names,
as Bone Soldier Taiji Ishimori (A, 14) teams up with El Phantasmo (B, 12)
and Robbie Eagles (B, 10) for the first time as a trio. Its Roppongi 3K vs. Bullet Club!

TOMOHIRO ISHII, TORU YANO, YOSHI-HASHI, JUSHIN THUNDER LIGER & TIGER MASK
vs. TAICHI, MINORU SUZUKI, ZACK SABRE JR., YOSHINOBU KANEMARU & DOUKI

Four days before Taichi defends the NEVER Openweight Championship against
the Stone Pitbull Tomohiro Ishii, well get a preview of the action as they participate in a huge 10-man tag team match. This will also be the first
time that Suzuki-Guns brand new junior heavyweight, DOUKI, will get a
chance to be a part a real part of the faction for the first time in a New Japan ring.

KOTA IBUSHI, TOGI MAKABE, TOMOAKI HONMA & TOA HENARE vs. TETSUYA NAITO,
    EVIL, SANADA & BUSHI

IWGP Intercontinental Champion Kota Ibushi and Tetsuya Naito will preview
their upcoming title match at Dominion with an 8-man tag team match. Bushi
(B, 12) also returns to Los Ingobernables de Japon after a high-scoring run
in the Super Juniors, while EVIL and SANADA get the chance to send a
message to the New Japan heavyweight tag team division.

KAZUCHIKA OKADA & ROCKY ROMERO vs. MARTY SCRULL & BRODY KING

Okada will defend the IWGP Heavyweight Championship against Chris Jericho
in a first-time match at Dominion, but since Jericho isnt scheduled to be
in Japan until this weekend (or so weve been lead to believe) hell have a warm-up against Villain Enterprises.

    HIROSHI TANAHASHI vs. JAY WHITE

The Ace of New Japan has not been seen since the G1 Supercard at Madison
Square Garden, where he was unsuccessful in facing Zack Sabre Jr. for the RevPro Undisputed British Heavyweight Championship. Tanahashi will be
returning to the ring after taking time off to heal up from nagging
injuries, and its fitting that his first match back should be against the
man who beat him to become IWGP Heavyweight Championship were talking
about the Switchblade himself, Bullet Club leader Jay White.

    IWGP U.S. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

JUICE ROBINSON (c) vs. JON MOXLEY

Is this real? Is this actually happening? Former WWE world champion and All Elite Wrestlings newest acquisition, Jon Moxley, finally arrives in a New
Japan ring for the first time ever, and hes coming directly for the IWGP
United States Heavyweight Champion Juice Robinson. The two go all the way
back to their time in FCW and NXT, when they were known as Dean Ambrose and
CJ Parker. But the newly unchained Moxley will not be facing the same developmental rookie he may remember, as Juice prepares for the biggest
fight of his life to defend his title.

BEST OF THE SUPER JUNIORS FINALS

    SHINGO TAKAGI vs. WILL OSPRAY

Will Ospreay (B, 14) has scraped and clawed his way back to another Best of
the Super Juniors finale, for the third time in just four years. He has outlasted and defeated several of the biggest junior heavyweight names in
the business on his way back to the mountaintop, including Bandido, Bushi, Rocky Romero and Ryusuke Taguchi, putting on in-ring clinics on a
near-daily basis. But will it matter? As good as Ospreay is, he will come face-to-face with a man who has gone undefeated in his first 9 months with
New Japan Pro-Wrestling. He will face a man who not only set a new all-time Super Juniors record going 9-0 for an unprecedented 18 points. The question
is is Will Ospreay ready for Shingo Takagi?
