Dolph Ziggler vs Finn Balor Announced for Smackdown Live, New Day in Action

Just moments ago we reported that Jerry The King Lawler will return to Smackdown Live this coming week in Memphis, TN to host a special in-ring segment with fellow WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus.

WWE has also confirmed that in addition to the segment, Finn Balor will go one-on-one with Dolph Ziggler. They are playing up a story where Ziggler attacked Shawn Michaels this past week, dropping him with a superkick, and
not only has Balor stepped up to teach him respect, but he will also have
to face Seth Rollins on Raw for the same reasons.

Also announced is a non-title tag team match featuring Smackdown Tag Team Champions Big E and Xavier Woods of the NEW DAY taking on Drew McIntyre
and Elias. Tune in Tuesday night at 8/7c to see all this and more!

Jerry The King Lawler to Interview WWE Hall of Famer on Smackdown Live

Jerry The King Lawler sent out a tweet this weekend announcing that he will
be hosting a special Kings Court segment on the upcoming episode of
Smackdown Live, which just so happens to take place in the WWE Hall of
Famers stomping grounds of Memphis, TN.

Lawler will be interviewing fellow Hall of Famer Trish Stratus, who he
calls his all-time favorite female WWE Superstar. The Canadian legend hasnt been seen since competing at last years historic all-womens Evolution pay-per-view (or rather, the night after when she competed on Raw).

As reported earlier this week by Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, Stratus
is scheduled to face Charlotte Flair in a big cross-era match at this years SummerSlam, and its likely the build to their collision will begin on
Tuesday night.

WWE has begun the build towards SummerSlam by releasing full matches from throughout the pay-per-views history completely free on their YouTube
channel.

The latest addition to the list is a six-woman tag team match from the 2016 edition of SummerSlam, where each competitor is a former womens champion.
On one side of the field you have Nikki Bella, Natalya and Alexa Bliss,
taking on Naomi, Carmella and Becky Lynch.

WWE will be airing a portion of tonights house show event in Nashville, TN
live on the WWE Network, featured two championship matches, and a special musical performance from Elias.

The show, entitled WWE SMACKVILLE, will air live at 9PM ET this evening
with Kofi Kingston defended his WWE Championship in the main event in a
triple threat match against both Dolph Ziggler and Samoa Joe.

The King of Strong-Style will also be in action, as Shinsuke Nakamura
defends the WWE Intercontinental title against Finn Balor.

WrestleCircus Cancels This Weekends Event, Closes Its Doors For Good

Texas-based independent promotion WrestleCircus announced today that they
will be closing their doors for good, effective immediately. Their upcoming event scheduled for July 28th, which was to feature a huge six-man tag team main event between AEWs SoCal Uncensored and Impact Wrestlings The Rascals,
has been cancelled.

The following statement was issued:

Its time to say goodbye and this it will have to be for good. We have
cancelled the upcoming show on Sunday July 28th and WrestleCircus will
finally die its final death. All customers who have purchased tickets will
be refunded. Look for an email notification within the next 24-48 hours.

I want to apologize for all the ups and downs, 99.999% of which have all
been at the fault of nobody but myself (Al). Please know that when I
brought WrestleCircus back, it was against advisement of several of my most trusted peers (including Jordan Len-X and Kevin Condron), however, my own
ego and the desire to bring WrestleCircus back got in the way of their
better judgement.

Both of those individuals as well as several others did everything in their power to keep us running despite everything going on, but ultimately
matters within my own personal and private life have once again led to our downfall. I am deeply sorry for all the hardships and obviously this is not
the way Id hoped for WrestleCircus to end That said, I am clearly not fit
to run a wrestling company despite my passion for the business.

Once again, I am truly sorry for letting so many people down and I hope
that our fans and wrestlers will cherish the good memories rather than
piling on the jokes about another indie biting the dust. Thank you to all
of you who continued to support WrestleCircus, through all of the ups and downs. It was a fun ride while it lasted.

WrestleCircus ran its first show in October 2016 with EC3 in the main
event, winning the first ever Ringmaster Championship in a Fatal 4-Way
match against Colt Cabana, Lance Archer and Raymond Rowe.

Over time they began to generate a considerable amount of online buzz for
their unique gimmick and consistent quality of matches, to the point where
it actually became a destination indie for some fans who would travel to
shows, not unlike PWG, but for a much shorter period of time.

In August 2017 they held an event called The Cody Rhodes Summer Circus Show with Cody beating Scorpio Sky to retain the ROH World Championship in the
main event. Perhaps their most talked-about show came in February of last
year, with Brian Cage vs. Tessa Blanchard headlining in a widely praised intergender match.

Chris Jericho Rock n Wrestling Rager at Sea, setting sail for the Bahamas
from January 20-24th, a huge list of names has been reveaeld for the unique
pro wrestling and music hybrid experience.

All Elite Wrestling who will be in attendance for all four days of the

Seth Rollins vs Dolph ZIggler Set For WWE Raw, Becky Lynch in Action,
Reigns & Joe to Meet in Samoan Summit

WWE has officially announced several matches and segments for the upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw, including a big main event singles match
pitting the Beast Slayer Seth Rollins taking on Dolph Ziggler.

Rollins will be apparently be stepping up in defense of WWE Hall of Famer
Shawn Michaels, who was superkicked by ZIggler during a segment of Miz TV
this past Tuesday night on Smackdown Live. HBK was a part of the group of legends that came to Rollins aid at Raw Reunion the night before, saving
him from an attack from AJ Styles and The OC.

Also scheduled for Raw is a non-title match between Raw Womens Champion
Becky Lynch and Alexa Bliss. The Man will be defending her throne at
SummerSlam against Natalya, but their brawl this past week ended up taking
out Bliss and Nikki Cross in a segment of A Moment of Bliss.

There will also be something called a Samoan Summit, where the Big Dog
Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe will look to settle their beef in an in-ring meeting, following their explosive brawl on Monday Night Raw. Yeah Good
