    Posted: 03 Jun 2019 12:12 PM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/mickie-james-update-following-weekend-injury-scare-at-wwe-live-event/

Mickie James was rumored to have suffered a knee injury this weekend,
during a match at Saturday nights WWE Live event in Waco, Texas.

In a bit of good news, F4WOnline.com is reporting that the nine-time womens champion was walking around okay after the show, and the situation may not
be as bad as originally thought.

For what its worth, Mickie was with the WWE crew on Sunday night in College Station, TX and was originally scheduled to wrestle on the show. She didnt
end up competing in any of the three womens matches on the show, although whether its due to the injury, or WWE just being cautious, we dont know for sure.

Peter Rosenberg No Longer With WWE

    Posted: 03 Jun 2019 11:29 AM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/peter-rosenberg-no-longer-with-wwe/

Former-WWE Kickoff Show Personality Peter Rosenberg was recently on Cheap
Heat on ESPN Radio, where he addressed why hes no longer a presence on WWE
TV. Rosenberg was known for his flashy attire, and outspoken nature, appearing on various WWE Kickoff panels, as well as Lets Bring It To The Table.

Rosenberg said that hed had other projects take precedence, but was willing and able to work WrestleMania 35. Rosenberg was reportedly at the WWE
hotel, and visited with performers and staff. It was apparently Michael
Cole that told Rosenberg that he was done with the company.

Impact World Champion Brian Cage Backstage At AEW Double or Nothing

    Posted: 03 Jun 2019 10:35 AM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/brian-cage-nearly-wrestled-at-aew-double-or-nothing/

PWInsider is reporting that IMPACT Wrestling Champion Brian Cage was
backstage at All Elite Wrestlings Double or Nothing event on May 25th.

Cage reportedly was prepared to wrestle at the event, but when IMPACT management got word that he was there, they informed him that his IMPACT
deal would not allow the appearance.

ProWrestling.com heard from sources weeks ago that Cage was planning on
making an appearance at Double or Nothing, but clearly an agreement was not worked out between both parties. AEW does have a working relationship with
AAA in Mexico, which has a long history with Impact, so its possible in the future we could see talent appear on both shows.

IMPACT Creative Team member Tommy Dreamer made an appearance in the AEW
Casino Battle Royal, but is not currently under contract with the company.

ROH Conducting "Internal Review" Regarding Alleged Fan Intimidation

    Posted: 03 Jun 2019 10:25 AM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/ring-of-honor-conducting-internal-review-regarding-fan-intimidation/

Ring of Honor is in a bit of hot water, after a fan took to Twitter to say that they were intimidated backstage by Bully Ray.

Twitter user Osh Kosh Big Josh (@xIAMHOLLYWOODx) shared a story, in which booing the antagonistic Allure stable, and were then taken backstage by security, who reportedly left him alone with Bully Ray. Bully Ray allegedly went on to chew the fan out for heckling the heel stable, and then told him to go be a fan.

According to Wrestling INC., Ring of Honor General Manager Greg Gilleland
said that Ring of Honor will be conducting an internal review.

ROH has always taken fan-first approach, with fan experience being at the forefront of all of our live events. We consider this to be very serious
and will be conducting an internal review over the next 48 hours to
    determine the appropriate actions.

Show starts. Dark match is some local girls fighting. Allure interferes at
the end. Velvet and I exchange words along with the rest of the Allure.
Nothing crazy. Mandy Leon spits on me from the side. Not preferable but I honestly don’t care. Segment ends

    - Osh Kosh Big Josh (@xIAMHOLLYWOODx) June 3, 2019

Some opening match happens. Wildly unimportant. Second match occurs and
it’s a local v a local. Allure interferes at the end. I’m mouthing off to all the girls for no reason other than THEY’RE THE BAD GUYS
“Boo you’re trash get lost no one wants you here etc”

    - Osh Kosh Big Josh (@xIAMHOLLYWOODx) June 3, 2019

She goes to the back. Fast forward about five minutes & I get a tap on the shoulder

“Hey, we’re with security and need to talk to you about an incident that occurred”

Immediately I think of the Allure stuff but think that maybe Mandy got in trouble for spitting/face palming me

    - Osh Kosh Big Josh (@xIAMHOLLYWOODx) June 3, 2019

Security takes me legit backstage. I’m still perplexed by the entire thing and was honestly very hesitant to follow them because they kept saying “we need to talk to you about an incident”.
No details behind just leading me into the back. What’s happening? What’s waiting for me?

    - Osh Kosh Big Josh (@xIAMHOLLYWOODx) June 3, 2019

Suddenly BULLY RAY comes out from a back room. Full on gear since he was in
the opening segment of the show and he looks PISSED. Much bigger than me so I’m kinda taking a step back on this here. Security backs off and it’s just us two

    - Osh Kosh Big Josh (@xIAMHOLLYWOODx) June 3, 2019

I’m not trying to act tough. I was legit being intimidated with purpose and
I wasn’t about to get kicked out during match 3 so I just bit the bullet
and said “sure yes sir yeah, I understand yup”
He said “End of convo. Go be a fan”

Security led me back to my seat

    - Osh Kosh Big Josh (@xIAMHOLLYWOODx) June 3, 2019

That’s the end in regards to a timeline of events.

The whole thing is still completely unbelievable and surreal, honestly.

I’ve gone to live events for 15 years and been following wrestling for 22 years. Never once heard of something like this happening

    - Osh Kosh Big Josh (@xIAMHOLLYWOODx) June 3, 2019

    June 3, 2019

As the 2019 Best of the Super Juniors winds to a close, the stars of the B Block compete one final time this morning, as New Japan Pro-Wrestling

Jon Moxley Claims "Vince McMahon Himself Is The Problem" With WWE

    Posted: 03 Jun 2019 01:51 AM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/jon-moxley-claims-vince-mcmahon-himself-is-the-problem-with-wwe/

Last week, All Elite Wrestlings news acquisition Jon Moxley sat down for a record breaking, tell-all interview with Chris Jericho shedding light on
his frustrations behind-the-scenes in WWE. The episode of Talk is Jericho became the most-listened-to show in the podcasts long history in
under 10 hours, and his candid revelations about the WWE creative team have
    set the internet ablaze.

Just days before the former world champion gets set to make his debut in
New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Moxley sits down for another a massive interview
with Wade Keller of PWTorch, and this time he pulls no punches in sharing
his very real feelings about the boss himself, Vince McMahon.

“Looking back, I always pictured myself as one of Vince’s guys, because he likes me. But Vince is the problem. Vince himself is the problem. .. I was
just there, I know the ins and outs, and he’s a problem. It’s a shame, because there’s so much great talent. There may have never been more talent there. All the wrestlers are awesome, so many people with charisma, and
talent the pool of talent is incredible. The resources they have, and all
the television, and the network it should be so great! And the one guy
who’s screwing it up, I think, is Vince.”

Moxley admits that Vince used to be a legitimate creative genius, and talks
at length in the podcast about many of the good ideas the boss had for him
over the years but these days, its not the same.

“In the 80s he was a genius. When he created Hulkamania, and he took over
all the territories, and he took over cable television and all that. But in 2019 I don’t think he knows what the f*** is going on. He needs to figure
it out, or step aside and let somebody who knows what’s going on do it.”

When asked if he thought Triple H would do a better job running WWE, Moxley
was optimistic that the Hall of Famer would allow a more open environment
for talent, but also recognized that things backstage wouldnt become a free-for-all with him in charge.

“Who else is there? He’s clearly been preparing for this. When Vince isn’t
there, he’s the guy you defer to. He’s got good ideas. His ideas are his ideas. He’s a lot more cerebral. He’s not really like a super open, collaborate he thinks about things a lot. But I think that’s a much better option, between the two of them.”
“I think he would be more open in giving people freedom. He’s smart, and he sees things his way. So if he sees you doing something and he envisions it
a better way, he’ll come over and say, ‘Maybe we can do it this way.’ And a
lot of times it’s even cooler. Just ask somebody in NXT that is around that system.”
    “He wouldn’t be like, ‘it’s a free-for-all now!’ A lot of times he’ll
explain to you there’s been times I wanted to do stuff, and he says no,
you can’t do that. I wanted to bleed everywhere, or whatever it is, and he’ll be like, ‘Well if we do that, I understand you think it’s cool, but we will lose a $10 million sponsor.’ That’s kind of hard to argue. I get it. It wouldn’t be a free-for-all, but maybe it would be better, you know?” “Everybody seems to like NXT. I’ve never been there, or been around an NXT Takeover to see how those days go, so I can’t speak on how… I can speak on the day in the life of me, but I can’t tell you how it is in NXT. But everybody seems to like the show. What’s the key ingredient that’s missing? Vince. He’s the guy who ‘created wrestling’, but now he’s the guy who is
    holding his own company back. He needs to maybe step aside, take a break;
go on a fishing trip. But he doesn’t work like that. Maybe for a month,
just let Hunter run it for month and see what happens.”
