WWE has shared a video of Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae surprising two
WWE fans on their wedding day with a video message for the couple.

The video shows the couple come out to Garganos theme song, This Rebel
Heart, and afterwards they get a surprise message from Gargano and LeRae themselves, congratulating them on their big day.

Bully Ray Critical Of WWE Raw Reunion Ending

WWE Hall Of Famer, Bully Ray was critical of the WWE Raw Reunion segment
that closed the show this week, believing it didnt benefit the current
roster. Below are some highlights from his comments on Busted Open Radio,

“Tell me why we couldn’t get RAW going off the air with Steve Austin and all of the current RAW roster in the ring with Steve Austin, and all of the veterans on the floor drinking with them,” he asked.

“Why couldn’t we get Steve Austin saying ‘It’s great to have my Attitude
Era family out here. The WWE slogan is then, now, and forever. We represent
the ‘then,’ I wanna drink with the ‘now’ so we can all live forever.’ Why
couldn’t Steve invite the entire locker room out? Because that would have been an immense passing of the torch or at least a massive rub. Steve
drinking with Seth, Steve drinking with Roman, Steve drinking with all of
the current roster while the veterans hung out on the floor. The world’s biggest beer bash on Monday Night RAW.”

Kurt Angle Discusses His Decision To Retire & Why His Opponent Wasnt John

During a recent interview with Collider Live, WWE Hall Of Famer, Kurt Angle revealed why he chose to retire from wrestling and why he didnt face John
Cena. Below are some highlights with a H/T to SEScoops.com for the transcriptions.

“I decided to retire at ‘Mania,” Angle said. “Vince didn’t tell me ‘Listen
you’re done after ‘Mania.’ I went to him and said ‘Listen, I want to retire. I’m not able to do what I used to, and if I can’t be the old Kurt Angle, I want to be done now,” he explained.

“I was hearing a lot of feedback from people that Kurt looks like he’s in pain in the ring and he’s slower then he used to be, and it’s like ‘Guys, I’m 50 years old, of course I’m slower.”

Angle also went on to talk about why he couldnt face John Cena:

“You have a program that you’ve been doing for a year; I’m not throwing it
away. It’s with Baron Corbin, so whether you want to retire now or
whenever, you’re going to wrestle Baron at WrestleMania.”

Angle agreed, saying “‘You know what, that’s fair. You’re right.’ I can’t
just change the whole thing and what they had planned and say ‘Hey, add
Cena in.’ So I think that if it was next WrestleMania [36], it would have been John and I.”

Vince McMahon Admits He Can "No Longer Be In The Weeds," Promises A More
Edgy Product

During yesterdays WWE Q2 Earnings call, Vince McMahon admitted he would be taking a step back from the product, discussing the new Executive
Directors. Below are some highlights from the call with a H/T to Seeking
Alpha for the transcriptions.

Vince discussed bringing Eric Bischoff and Paul Heyman onboard, admitting
that he can no longer be in the weeds every day.

One the things that weve done is hire 2 Executive Directors, one for Raw
and 1 for SmackDown and in doing so, it allows me to look at a longer-range story – our standpoint and also spend more time on talent development and
not get into the weeds as much as I had to do in the past. That is a
really, really good thing for a long-term as well as short-term. Actually,
weve seen a big result already.

Vince also discussed how much control both Bischoff and Heyman will have in their new roles:

Why now question is a logical one, Vince said. I cant personally be in the weeds any longer and we have these 2 individuals who have a longer range of point of view and a developmental point the of view. Both of these
individuals have extensive backgrounds in the business from various aspects
and with the organizational aspects that they have and the depth of talent, executive talent we now attract is going to be really good for our
business. And how much latitude they will have, thats again it allows me to have a broader overview of things and escape from just getting on the
weeds. So theyll have a lot of latitude.

Vince McMahon also talked about how WWE will start becoming an edgier
product, whilst taking a shot at AEW in the process:

Were going to be a bit edgier but still remain in the PG environment, Vince revealed. Weve just come anywhere close actually to go into another level.
So that will be something will do in terms of direction of content, more controversy, better storylines, etc. But at the same time, were not going
to go back to the bold Attitude Era and were not going to do blood and guts
and things of that nature such as being done on perhaps a new potential competitor. Were just not going to go back to that gory that we graduated
from. And again, a more sophisticated product. Again attracting much better writers and attracting better management things of that nature. So again, I feel really good about it.

Interest In Broken Skull IPA Has Gone "Crazy" Following Raw Reunion

Following the WWE Raw Reunion toast by Stone Cold Steve Austin, interest in
his Broken Skull IPA has gone crazy, with the demand increasing
significantly.

El Segundo Brewing Company, who makes Austins own brand of beer, noted on Facebook that they have received hundreds of thousands of inquiries about
where fans can purchase the adult beverage, which is currently only
available in limited locations.

Weve received hundreds, if not thousands, of inquires as to where you can
find Broken Skull IPA. Currently, Broken Skull is only available in
Southern CA, and sometimes Portland, OR, roughly in the vicinity of the
Broken Skulls on the map. The good news is we are working on distribution
plans to reach the masses. If you are a prospective distributor, please
send us an email at rob@elsegundobrewing.com.

The owner, Rob Croxall also went on to state that in an interview with The
Full Pint, that the RAW Reunion exposure helped increase interest significantly.

We were planning on switching to 16 oz. cans of Broken Skull IPA by the end
of the year. We didnt have much lead time for Steves toast on RAW Reunion,
so we had to scramble to get him enough beer for the show. Obviously after
this exposure, interest has gone crazy for this beer, Croxall said.

Injured WWE NXT Superstar Returns To In-Ring Action At Live Event

During last nights WWE NXT Live Event in Orlando, Florida, an injured WWE
NXT Superstar made their return to in-ring competition.

After being out of action since August 2018 with multiple knee-related
injuries that she suffered during the Mae Young Classic, Tegan Nox finally
made her long-awaited return to action last night.

Nox competed in tag team action and defeated the team of Aliyah and Vanessa Borne, getting the pinfall for her team.

Of course, Nox normally teams with Dakota Kai, however, her fellow Team
Kicks member is currently on the shelf with an injury and instead, she
teamed with Jessi Kamea in her return. Kai did take to Twitter to
congratulate Nox on her return though, as did SmackDown Live Womens
Champion, Bayley.

Wyatt took to Twitter and apologized to Foley for his actions on Raw, but

WWE Is Latest Company To Target Australia

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that WWE is currently
interested in pursuing Australian talent, as the country is a major market priority for them. New Japan Pro-Wrestling just wrapped up their latest
tour of Australia at the end of June, and their push for talent from the Australia an New Zealand area has led to prominent roles for Jay White, Bad Luck Fale & Robbie Eagles. NJPW has been cross promoting with Melbourne
City Wrestling for sometime.

WWE recently signed Australian heavyweight Jonah Rock (now known as Bronson Reed), and have been heavily featuring Australian Superstars Peyton Royce & Billie Kay. With the opening of the WWE NXT UK Performance Center, it seems likely an Australian PC is on the way.
