Following Tuesday nights episode of Smackdown Live there are now six
matches officially confirmed for this years WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view,
taking place at Scotiabank Arena on Sunday, August 11th in Toronto,
Ontario, Canada.

TNT Premieres All Elite Wrestling’s Live Weekly Matches on Wednesdays Beginning October 2

July 24, 2019 – WarnerMedia announced today that the new professional wrestling league All Elite Wrestling (AEW) will begin airing its two-hour weekly matches on TNT on Wednesday, Oct. 2, from 8 p.m. ET to 10 p.m. ET.
The highly-anticipated, action-packed matches will take place in different cities across the nation each week on Wednesdays, starting in Washington,
D.C., at the famed Capital One Arena. Ticket pricing and on-sale date for
the televised live event will be announced on Monday, July 29, at 12 p.m.
ET via AEW’s social media platforms.

AEW features a world-class roster of diverse male and female wrestlers,
giving fans a new wrestling experience for the first time in 20 years.
Founded by President and CEO Tony Khan, AEW is headlined by Cody & Brandi Rhodes, The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson), Kenny Omega, Hangman Adam
Page, Chris Jericho and Jon Moxley. The roster is also filled with
incredibly skilled competitors including Nyla Rose, Awesome Kong, Dustin Rhodes, Jungle Boy, Dr. Britt Baker, MJF and SCU. In addition to being
in-ring talent, Cody, The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega also serve as EVPs
with Brandi Rhodes serving as Chief Brand Officer. Renowned commentator Jim Ross has also joined the league.

Focused on fast-paced, high-impact competitions, AEW offers fans more athleticism along with real sports analytics. Wrestlers are also given
freedom to explore their characters and highlight their athletic abilities. Introducing statistics to wrestling for the first time ever, AEW will raise
the stakes for its matches and deepen fan engagement by tracking each competitor’s wins and losses as wrestlers pursue championships. Their moves and damage to their opponents will also be analyzed on-air to provide
insights into their winning streaks.

WarnerMedia has been offering fans exclusive access to AEW’s previous
matches that kicked off in May. Their extremely popular events DOUBLE OR NOTHING, FYTER FEST and FIGHT FOR THE FALLEN were all streamed on B/R Live.
The highly anticipated ALL OUT event in Chicago on Saturday, Aug. 31, will

Bray Wyatt to Wrestle His First Match in 12 Months at SummerSlam

After being attacked by the terrifying new persona of Bray Wyatt named The Fiend last week on Monday Night Raw, Finn Balor appeared Tuesday night on Smackdown Live to issue a challenge for a match at SummerSlam.

Wyatt then appeared on the tron on the set of his bizarre Firefly Fun House
and claimed to be a huge fan of Finns, as are his friends Rambling Rabbit
and Mercy the Buzzard, apparently. That said, The Fiend isnt necessarily
too fond of Balor, and the match will officially go down on Sunday, August
11th at SummerSlam in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

This will actually be Wyatts first match on WWE television since August
2018, when he and his former tag team partner Matt Hardy split up. He did
work a few live events prior to the new year, but until returning with the Firefly Fun House skits earlier this summer, hadnt been seen since last years SummerSlam.

Drake Maverick Announces "Unsanctioned" Fight Against Mike Kanellis

Drake Maverick will finally get the chance to have a legitimate singles
match on WWE television.This one has been brewing for months, but the
company has officially confirmed that Maverick will indeed face Mike
Kanellis on next Tuesday nights episode of WWE 205 Live.

Because he is also the shows General Manager, the match will be an
unsanctioned fight, which means there are no rules and anything goes. That said, if Kanellis can beat him, he will earn a future match against Drew
Gulak for the WWE Crusierweight Championship.

While Maverick has been involved in numerous segments involving the WWE
24/7 Championship this summer, and he was technically in a few matches alongside AOP back when he was their manager, this will be his first
legitimate one-on-one match since leaving Impact Wrestling in 2017. Of
course its unsanctioned, so I guess you could argue this also doesnt count.

Drew Gulak cut a promo talking about how he challenged the 205 Live locker room to step up, but instead its someone from NXT and from his past that stepped up to face him tonight. He reminds Swerve that he was the one who trained him, and he still has a lot left to learn.

Ember Moon Scores Big Win Over Charlotte Flair, Sends Message to the Champ Ahead of SummerSlam

The Shenom scored another big win this Tuesday night, pinning Charlotte
Flair in singles competition after a little interference from the Smackdown Womens Champion herself, Bayley.

While the victory wasnt exactly what you would call clean, Ember Moon
followed up her win with a strong message to both women, dropping them with back-to-back Eclipses. Check out the footage both above and below, as
cameras caught up with her after the show.

Moon will be in action on Sunday, August 11th when she challenges Bayley
for the Smackdown Womens Championship at SummerSlam.

Kofi Kingston Announces His Next Challenger for WWE SummerSlam

Its finally happening!

A matchup nearly a decade in the making will finally come to a head at this years SummerSlam pay-per-view, when Kofi Kingston defends his WWE
Championship against Randy Orton.

This rivalry goes back more than a decade to the 2009 Bragging Rights pay-per-view, when Orton lost his WWE Championship to John Cena in a
60-minute Anything Goes Iron Man match. He blamed Kingston for the loss,
after he attempted to even the odds following interference from the Vipers allies Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase.

This small incident sparked a fierce, albeit brief program between the two
that even saw them captain opposite Survivor Series teams, which Kingston
won, and a big singles match at the annual TLC pay-per-view, which Orton
won.

Many believed this intense rivalry would be the thing to catapult the
rising Kingston into legitimate main event status, but the action was
brought to a screeching halt before they could even get off the ground. It would take almost 10 years for him to finally find his way to a world title match at WrestleMania.

Last week on Smackdown Live, The Viper scored a big victory over the
champion himself, pinning Kofi in a six-man tag team match against The New
Day. It was quickly announced that Kingston would be allowed to issue his
own challenge for a title match at SummerSlam, and wasted very little time
this Tuesday night in offering the opportunity to the 20-year veteran.

Dolph Ziggler Drops Shawn Michaels with Sweet Chin Music on Smackdown

The legendary Showstopper was stopped dead in his tracks this Tuesday
night, after being superkicked by an enraged Dolph Ziggler on Smackdown
Live and the incident may end up having major SummerSlam implications.

Michaels was the special guest on a segment of MizTV this week, reuniting
with his Marine 6: Close Quarters co-star to recap all the incredible
moments from Monday nights historic Raw Reunion in Tampa, FL. The two were quickly interrupted by Ziggler, who had a bone to pick with the two-time
WWE Hall of Famer.

I used to idolize you. Hell, we all used to idolize you. Emphasis on the
used to. You had a chance to write your ticket and go off into the sunset
as the greatest performer of all time. What did you do? Every single chance
you got, you shuffled back out here and waved to the crowd it was embarrassing. As embarrassing as all those legends last night, and as embarrassing as Goldberg in a wrestling ring.

Ziggler also called out Michaels for his return to the ring last November
in Saudi Arabia, where he teamed with Triple H to take on the Brothers of Destruction in a heavily panned and criticized match for more than one
reason. HBK fired back that having a bad match is still a whole lot better
than being a second-rate Shawn Michaels wannabe.

Im not gonna disagree with you. It was embarrassing. But you wanna know something? Whats more embarrassing to me is working your whole career,
giving everything youve got, and still with nothing except being known as a second-rate Shawn Michaels wannabe.

Dolph would end up brawling with The Miz, dropping the so-called A-Lister
with a big right hook before dropping Michaels with a lighting quick

Kevin Owens vs Shane McMahon Official for WWE SummerSlam

On Tuesday morning, Kevin Owens issued a challenge to Shane McMahon for a singles match at SummerSlam, promising that if he cant get the job done,
hell leave WWE for good.

That match has now been made official for the hottest party of the summer, going down Sunday, August 11th in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. On Smacckdown
Live this week, Owens was forced into a match with Roman Reigns against all odds, with McMahon, Elias and Drew McIntyre all sitting ringside to ensure
that neither man left the ring in one piece.

Even so, the unlikely duo managed to work together to take out Shane OMacs small army, and the blue brand once again went off the air with K.O.
delivering another Stone Cold Stunner to the boss, with a bit of an assist
from the Big Dog.
