IMPACT Wrestling Renews Agreement with Twitch, Expands Weekly Content Production


Flagship weekly show IMPACT! streams on Twitch every Friday at 10:00 p.m. ET TORONTO – IMPACT Wrestling, a subsidiary of Anthem Sports & Entertainment and one of the world’s largest professional wrestling
organizations,announced today it has renewed and expanded the scope of its agreement with Twitch, one of the world’s largest live streaming video platforms, which includes the weekly premiere of the flagship two-hour show IMPACT!, streaming on Friday nights at 10:00 p.m. ET.
The renewal will include the production of more exclusive content on the
Twitch platform (www.twitch.tv/impactwrestling), including original weekly programming, pre and post-shows, live monthly specials, weekly airings of Xplosion which features never-before-seen matches, IRL (in real life) first-person streams, and much more. To support Twitch’s development of its co-streaming features, IMPACT Wrestling will facilitate co-streaming of the weekly flagship show and will be announcing details of a contest featuring co-streamers in the near future.

WWE has announced that WWE Cruiserweight Champion Drew Gulak will face
Isaiah Swerve Scott (fka Shane Strickland) in a non-title contest on
tonights broadcast. Also announced is a tag match between Raul Mendoza & Humberto Carrillo and Lucha House Partys Kalisto & Lince Dorado.

The show will air LIVE on the WWE Network directly after SmackDown Live.

AEW Teases Wednesday Announcement

The official account of All Elite Wrestlings yet-unnamed TNT show is
teasing an announcement for Wednesday, July 24th. There have been rumblings that AEWs upcoming weekly show will run on  Wednesdays, and with the
AEWonTNT account leading the tease, the announcement is likely related to
the program.

The tease began on Monday with the hashtag #AreYouElite, which seemed
focused on bringing attention to the newly launched account. AEW President
Tony Khan said after Fight For The Fallen that fans would know AEWs weekly touring schedule, including the October premiere date, before AEW All Out
on August 31st.

No word on when the announcement will take place.

FITE announced today a new partnership with top Mexican wrestling promotion Lucha Libre AAA that will see its upcoming shows in New York and California broadcast live on pay-per-view around the world.

AAA Invading New York will air live from the worlds most famous arena
Madison Square Garden on Sunday, September 15th. That is the same day as
WWEs Clash of Champions taking place in Charlotte, NC.

Announced for The Garden so far is Aerostar, Averno, Blue Demon Jr., Daga, Dinastía, Drago, Fenix, Golden Magic, Hijo del Tirantes, Hijo del Vikingo, Konnan, La Hiedra, La Parkita, Lady Maravilla, Lady Shani, Mamba, Máximo, Myzteziz Jr., Niño Hamburguesa, Pagano, Pentagon Jr., Piero, Pimpinela Escarlata, Puma King, Taya, Tessa and Villano III Jr.
