She’s still a big deal. The Women’s Revolution has been a rather controversial subject over the last few years for a variety of reasons. It isn’t so much the Revolution itself, but rather who started it. Over the years, there have been all kinds of people taking credit for it and while
your exact answer may vary, the Bella Twins are certainly names you have to consider. Now one of them has a big story of her own.

In a new video on the Bella Twins’ YouTube page, Nikki Bella confirmed that she is now dating professional dancer Artem Chigvinstev are now dating
after being teamed together on a season of Dancing With The Stars. The
video shows the two dancing together to Rita Ora’s Let Me Love You, with
the relationship status also being confirmed by an article on WWE.com.
Bella previously dated John Cena for several years before splitting with
him last year. There is currently no word on either of the Bellas coming
    back to the ring.

Well what else could this be? Check out the video of the two of them
    dancing together:
[This post contains video, click to play]

Opinion: This is the situation that has been hinted at on the Bellas’
reality series for a good portion of the previous season so seeing
something like this happen is hardly shocking. You may or may not like
her, but Bella is certainly one of the biggest names in the history of the women’s division and WWE would be very happy to have her come back. I’m not sure if she will, but it would certainly be a big deal.

Do you want to see the Bellas back? Do you think they will be? Let us
    know in the comments below.

Update (And Maybe Not A Positive One): WWE Star Not Returning To Main
    Roster?

    Posted: 19 Jul 2019 01:28 AM PDT https://wrestlingrumors.net/tommyhall/update-maybe-not-positive-one-wwe-star-not-returning-main-roster/

Not quite yet? There are a lot of people on the WWE roster and there just
is not enough room for all of them to get a chance on the television
shows. That can become an issue as there are always going to be a lot of people left sitting around doing nothing and some of them do it from one. Earlier this week, one name was reported as being back on the road but it
might have been a little less than accurate.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Luke Harper is not back on
the road with the main roster despite being reported as doing so earlier
this week. While Harper is said to be moving back to the roster, it is
said to be a secret from most as it is not known to anyone on the company
at the moment. Harper has only wrestled a handful of matches in nearly a
year due to wrist surgery. Part of his current hiatus is due to Vince
McMahon not being a fan of his match with Dominik Dijakovic at Worlds
    Collide.

This is the match that held Harper back. Check out his match with
    Dijakovic:
[This post contains video, click to play]

Opinion: I feel bad for Harper. He spent years as second (or third) banana
to Bray Wyatt and now that he’s healthy, he can’t get back in the ring at all. You would think he would have a spot waiting on him just because of
his look and size, but apparently that isn’t enough anymore. Hopefully he gets another chance as he has certainly earned one over the years.

What do you think of Harper? What could you see him do? Let us know in
    the comments below.

You Need Some Specifics. Here Are The Changes That Paul Heyman Is Making
    On Monday Night Raw.

    Posted: 19 Jul 2019 01:25 AM PDT https://wrestlingrumors.net/tommyhall/need-specifics-things-paul-heyman-focusing-changing-monday-night-raw/

Maybe it’s time to change. Over the last few weeks, WWE has been making
some major adjustments to their television product by bringing in Paul
Heyman and Eric Bischoff to take over their main shows. While Bischoff is
not quite into his show just yet, Heyman has been gaining influence for a
long time now and it seems that there are a few changes that he wants to
    make.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Heyman has been trying to implement some changes to Monday Night Raw to make it more realistic.
These changes mainly focus on having more realistic dialogue in backstage segments and having storyline developments have more consequences. An
example of the latter would be Braun Strowman missing some television after driving Bobby Lashley through the set earlier in the month.

Yeah this needed some more time. Check out the crash that made things more realistic:
[This post contains video, click to play]

Opinion: How is this supposed to be some brilliant idea? This is something that should be common sense, but the fact that it isn’t is the kind of
thing that sums up the issues with WWE at the moment. Just having someone
talk more realistically will be a help as it takes me out of a segment when someone says something ridiculous that no human would ever say. It is something that has worked before but for some reason now it isn’t allowed? Thank goodness for these changes, though they should have happened a long
    time ago.

What changes do you want to see from Heyman? How much better can the show
get? Let us know in the comments below.

They Have A Plan. FOX Unveils Ideas And Plans To Promote SmackDown Live, Including Some New Concepts.

    Posted: 19 Jul 2019 01:19 AM PDT https://wrestlingrumors.net/tommyhall/plan-fox-lists-off-series-ideas-plans-promote-smackdown-live-including-new-announcements/

The big boss speaks. As you probably remember, WWE is getting a major
boost later this year when they move SmackDown Live over to the FOX
Network. That means things are going to change in a hurry and WWE needs to
be ready to make it work. At the same time, FOX itself has some ideas of
their own and they let the company know about them during a meeting on Thursday.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, FOX held a meeting with its affiliates to discuss the upcoming launch of WWE on their network. While
there were no major announcements made, there were several new
announcements regarding the direction the company wants to take in
advertising the show, as well as some of the promotional aspects for the product as a whole. Here are some highlights:

    • The show will run 51 weeks a year with the only week missing due to the World Series.

    • There will be a launch show in September to introduce the show and stars to the public.

    • NXT may be appearing on a FOX channel at some point, likely Fox
    Sports 1.

    • WWE will be presented as a legitimate sport with real athletes and a focus on its athletics. It will not be presented as real fights, but as an athletic presentation.

    • There will be a traveling promotion that will go around the country
in a concept similar to the Lex Express.

    • There is a possibility that the debut episode will be a 20th Anniversary special.

The show does have a history. Check out a good look back at it:
[This post contains video, click to play]

Opinion: This all sounds great on paper, but that’s the key part: on
paper. I’m not sure how much FOX is going to be able to make the masses
care about wrestling, but at least they are giving it a shot. This is
quite the chance for WWE and maybe they can make it work. I don’t remember the last time they’ve had a bigger chance and the fact that they’ve gotten here is very impressive.

What do you expect from the move to FOX? Will the network keep the show on
the air for the full five years of the contract? Let us know in the
    comments below.

Hang On A Second (Again). Will Eric Bischoff Have A Say In SmackDown Live Creative?

    Posted: 19 Jul 2019 01:14 AM PDT https://wrestlingrumors.net/tommyhall/hang-second-will-eric-bischoff-say-smackdown-live-creative/

The changes continue. The biggest WWE story of the summer has been the addition of Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff to the company’s staffs with the two of them becoming Executive Directors of Monday Night Raw and SmackDown
Live respectively. Heyman has seemed to take over his show already, but Bischoff’s time has not yet started. However, it might not be happening anytime soon.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Bischoff may not have nay creative control over SmackDown Live whatsoever. Bischoff had no input on
this week’s show and going forward, he will be leading the show but not as someone with any hand in creative. Instead, Bischoff will be “interfacing” with SmackDown Live and FOX while Ryan Ward continues to head creative. At
the moment, it is not clear what responsibilities Bischoff will actually
have, though he will be leading the show.

Heyman and Bischoff have worked together before. Check out a rare
televised appearance from the two of them:
[This post contains video, click to play]

Opinion: I’m not sure how well this will work but there is a logic to the idea. One of the criticisms of Bischoff’s creative over the years is that there have been a lot of NWO style angles. Bischoff may not be the best in
the world at creative, but he does know how to creative some buzz. That’s what SmackDown Live needs right now and maybe he can pull it off.

Do you think Bischoff will do well at his job? What is the biggest change
he will make? Let us know in the comments below.

The Internal Battle. How Did AEW Fyter Fests Streaming Numbers Compare To Fight For The Fallens Numbers?

    Posted: 18 Jul 2019 11:48 PM PDT https://wrestlingrumors.net/tommyhall/internal-battle-aew-fyter-fests-streaming-numbers-compare-fight-fallens-numbers/

When you fight against yourself. AEW has hit the ground running with a
series of shows that have all been fairly well received. After the big pay
per view event with Double Or Nothing, the next two shows, Fyter Fest and
Fight For The Fallen, streamed for free in America on B/R Live. One of the most interesting points has been how AEW will do against WWE, but how will
    they do against themselves?

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the B/R Live numbers were
down roughly 10%-14% from Fyter Fest, which took place three weeks
earlier. While it is not clear why Fight For The Fallen’s numbers were
down, it is likely a combination of the WWE Network running Evolve’s Tenth Anniversary Special at the same time, AXS TV running coverage of the New
Japan G1 Climax Tournament and AEW running two shows in less than a month’s time.

Both shows were quite entertaining. Check out a recap of both shows:
[This post contains video, click to play]

[This post contains video, click to play]

Opinion: You can’t quite be surprised at the numbers going down even a
little bit. It’s just going to happen at some point, but it’s certainly not like the numbers went through the floor. If 10% of the fans didn’t watch, 90% of them still did and that’s quite the amount of people to
retain. If they can keep that later on, things are going to go quite well, especially if they can increase the numbers from where they are now.

Which show did you think was better? How high can the company go? Let us
    know in the comments below.

Give The Man His Choice. Jon Moxley Handpicked This Star To Wrestle At A Recent Show.

    Posted: 18 Jul 2019 11:44 PM PDT https://wrestlingrumors.net/tommyhall/give-man-choice-jon-moxley-handpicked-star-wrestle-recent-show/

It’s quite the request. Jon Moxley is in a rather interesting place at the moment. Earlier this year he was a pretty big star in WWE but now he has
moved over to AEW and become a top star. His appearance at Double Or
Nothing was quite the moment and he is still one of their biggest
acquisitions. Moxley still wrestles outside of AEW though and in one case,
he was allowed to hand pick his opponent.

Moxley appeared as a surprise guest at the Northeast Wrestling event on
June 15 and defeated Big Cass in a match. According to Sports Illustrated, Moxley specifically requested to face Big Cass in an effort to showcase Big Cass on a non-WWE stage. The two will meet again at another Northeast Wrestling event on August 17. Moxley and Big Cass are friends from Florida Championship Wrestling where the two were roommates.

The two had a heck of a match. Check out a clip, also including Enzo Amore: [This post contains video, click to play]

Opinion: You don’t get to see a star the caliber of Moxley getting to give someone that kind of a rub on his own. It’s quite the gesture from Moxley, who has his own star power and ability to rise up the ranks in AEW. Having
him show this level of kindness to Big Cass is a nice touch, even if they
have been friends before. Hopefully Big Cass can get things together and
make things work as he certainly has talent.

Do you think Big Cass will make it back to WWE? What is next for Moxley
after All Out? Let us know in the comments below.

Nice To See You Again. Another Name Revealed For Raw Reunion, Making First Appearance in WWE In Eight Years.

    Posted: 18 Jul 2019 11:41 PM PDT https://wrestlingrumors.net/tommyhall/nice-see-another-name-revealed-raw-reunion-making-first-appearance-wwe-eight-years/

Welcome home. Next Monday night, WWE is presenting Raw Reunion, which
could be one of the biggest episodes of Monday Night Raw in a very long
time. There have been a lot of names to come and go throughout the history
of the show and we could be in for a lot of surprises. WWE has announced several names for the upcoming event and one of them has not been there in
    a very long time.

WWE has announced that Melina will be part of the Raw Reunion special, as
she has confirmed on her Twitter account. Melina is a former five time WWE Women’s Champion and has not made an appearance with the company for eight years. Her last match with the company took place on August 1, 2011,
though she has wrestled somewhat frequently on the independent circuit.

Oh Yes, You saw correctly. I’ve been gone for 8 years & this reunion is the perfect time to come back home. #Family #WWEreunion #RawReunion pic.twitter.com/NsDATVoxRN

    - MELINA (@RealMelina) July 18, 2019

Dig that all time classic. Check out one of Melina’s legendary battles: [This post contains video, click to play]

Opinion: Melina is one of those names who hasn’t been around for a very
long time and while she might not draw in an audience on her own, she can
be part of a package that can draw one. That’s the whole point of
something like this and really, it’s a good idea to bring in some lapsed fans. The problem is keeping them around, which is a lot easier said than done.

Who do you want to see return most? Who might show up as a surprise? Let

(VIDEO): Someone Has Caught His Eye. Which Young Talent Does Chris Jericho Want In AEW?

    Posted: 18 Jul 2019 11:38 PM PDT https://wrestlingrumors.net/tommyhall/video-someone-caught-eye-young-talent-chris-jericho-want-aew/

Would that count as a thank you? Chris Jericho is the biggest star that
AEW has and that means that he has some pull in one of the fastest rising promotions in recent history. While AEW has already had some success, they still have a long way to go and that means there are several new talents
that can help make things better. It turns out that Jericho has his eye on
    a certain talent.

Jericho recently appeared on Collider Live and was asked which female
talent he wanted to sign to AEW. Jericho answered with Tessa Blanchard,
who is currently working for Impact Wrestling. However, Blanchard did
appear on All In and her father Tully Blanchard was recently named as
manager for AEW wrestler Shawn Spears. There is no word on when Tessa’s Impact Wrestling contract is up.

Straight from the star’s mouth. Check out Jericho’s statement about Tessa (5:17):
[This post contains video, click to play]

Opinion: It’s easy to say that Jericho has a great eye for talent but it’s hard to not see how great Tessa is. She is one of if not the most talented female (or any kind of) wrestlers in the world today and any company would
want to have her. Hopefully she gets to showcase her talents on a major
stage and AEW is about as big of a place as she is likely to go anytime
    soon.

Will Tessa wind up in AEW? Who would you like to see her face? Let us

The Big Get. CM Punk Announced For Major Wrestling Appearance In Chicago
    Over All Out Weekend.

    Posted: 18 Jul 2019 10:05 PM PDT https://wrestlingrumors.net/tommyhall/big-get-starrcast-iii-announces-cm-punk-appearing-chicago-weekend/

That’s quite the name. It’s almost hard to believe that CM Punk has not wrestled a match in about five and a half years. No matter how long he is
gone for, the fans seem to think that there is still a chance he could
return to the ring one day and shake things up a bit. As unlikely as that seems, and Punk has made it clear that he does not want to wrestle again,
he isn’t making things easier by making an announcement.

As announced by the Starrcast Twitter account, CM Punk will be making an appearance at the convention for an interview, along with photographs and autographs. While Starrcast is not officially affiliated with AEW, the conventions are held at the same time as major AEW events. Punk has not wrestled a match since the 2014 Royal Rumble and there is no indication he
will be wrestling ever again, though there is always the chance. Starrcast runs from August 29-September 1 in Chicago.

That’s a big announcement. Check out the video and the new slogan:
[This post contains video, click to play]

He did this before. Check out one of Punk’s previous returns:
[This post contains video, click to play]

Opinion: I don’t know if this is going to mean anything as far as Punk returning to the ring but it is certainly a cool moment. Punk’s name alone is going to get some attention and that’s the kind of thing that is good
for the convention and AEW as a bonus. There may be no direct connection between AEW and Starrcast, but fans know that they are close together and
that is going to get people interested.

With Special Guest Star. Legendary WWE Hall Of Famer To Join SmackDown
    Live Commentary Booth Next Week.

Spreading the live. WWE is trying a few different things to fix its
television ratings and audience problems. One of their ideas has been to
bring in some legends for an attempt at driving the numbers up, including
with next week’s Raw Reunion, which will include a host of names making a
one night return to the show. One such legend is going to be sticking
    around for the next night.

As announced on his Twitter account, Shawn Michaels will be appearing on
next week’s SmackDown Live and providing commentary for the show. Michaels is also scheduled to appear for the Raw Reunion special on Monday night.
At the moment, there are no reports on Michaels continuing to appear on the show going forward, meaning that this is likely a one off appearance.

Ive had a lot of ahem.. fun times on Monday Night #Raw, but Im not just
coming to #RawReunion to see some friends, ol HBK is going to be joining commentary THIS Tuesday on #SDLive! #IveBeenPracticing pic.twitter.com/aYrzq2iiFZ

    - Shawn Michaels (@ShawnMichaels) July 18, 2019

Michaels has been on the show before. Check out his appearance on the
    first weekly SmackDown:
[This post contains video, click to play]

Opinion: This isn’t the kind of thing that is going to pop the ratings up that much but it is a nice bonus feature. Maybe Michaels will stick around
and do some more of this, as he certainly would seem to offer a more unique perspective than someone like Byron Saxton or Corey Graves. Then again, a
lot of legends have not like being on commentary long term so it might not happen again beyond Tuesday.

How will Michaels do? Would you like to see him take the job full time?

One More For The Schedule. WWE Announces A New WWE Network Special.

For the sake of the content. There is a lot of WWE television. Like, a
crazy amount when you think about it. Between the regular television shows alone, you’re looking at about ten hours a week, plus whatever pay per view material you might find. Every now and then that’s not enough though and they’ll throw in a bonus, which is going to be the case later this month.

As announced on WWE.com, a new WWE Network special will air on Saturday
July 17 at 9pm, featuring a pair of matches. The special, called
Smackville, will air live from Nashville, Tennessee and include Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura defending against Finn Balor
and WWE Champion Kofi Kingston defending the title against Samoa Joe and
Dolph Ziggler. The event will also include a performance by Elias.

surprise, nothing is going to happen here but it’s cool to have a quick, likely hour long show with a few title matches. I’m not expecting anything significant from the show but where would we be without more WWE content to watch?

Which of the matches sound better? Will there be a title change? Let us
