The Undertaker will team with another one of his infamous WrestleMania opponents, the Big Dog Roman Reigns, this Sunday at WWE Extreme Rules. The unlikely duo will take on Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre in a No Holds
Barred tag team contest.

Two More Names Announced for AEW Fight for the Fallen, Updated Card

All Elite Wrestling has announced that both Dr. Britt Baker and Bea
Priestley will be in action this Saturday evening at the first ever Fight
for the Fallen event in Jacksonville, Florida. A specific match for either
star has yet to be confirmed.

Britt Baker has clearly been presented as the cornerstone of the AEW womens division, and was the first female talent announced by the promotion at
their launch event in Jacksonville this past January. She was the only
woman to return from The Elites ALL IN event, and picked up a big victory
at Double or Nothing in Las Vegas, defeating Nyla Rose, Awesome Kong and
Kylie Rae in a Fatal 4-Way match.

Priestley, only 23-years-old from the UK, was announced on a Road to Double
or Nothing video earlier this year. This will be her in-ring debut for the promotion. She has been working all around the UK for the past four years,
and has been a mainstay for STARDOM in Japan for the last three years.

The July 9th edition of WWE Smackdown Live, the go-home show heading into Extreme Rules, was down slightly once again this week. The show was down
about 2% in total, and watched by an estimated 1.85 million viewers.

WWE Smackdown Live was the #2 most-watched show on cable television Tuesday night, with a 0.53 rating in adults 18-49. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills took the top spot, with slightly less viewers overall but a 0.58
rating in adults 18-49.

Drew Gulak Wants To See Brock Lesnar Compete In 205 Live

Cruiserweight Champion, Drew Gulak recently spoke with Sports Bible where
he admitted he wants Brock Lesnar to cut weight and test himself on 205
Live.

Speaking of Lesnar, he said:

Id like to see Brock Lesnar cut a load of weight and join 205 Live because
I think it would be cool to see. Then we could really see what hes made of.Gulak said.

Gulak also claimed that there are no legitimate challengers for his title
right now:

I look around the 205 Live roster and I dont see too many people who are
worthy of a championship match right now. You have a lot of skilled guys
but I dont think their hearts are in the right place to challenge for a championship, and also I dont want to look past Tony Nese, hes my next
opponent and really hes who Ive been focusing on. He said.

Jim Ross Admits He Wouldnt Have Done The Chair Shot At Fyter Fest

AEW commentator, Jim Ross recently spoke to Busted Open Radio about the
recent chair shot to Cody Rhodes, which was unprotected to the head.

JR made his feelings about the chair shot crystal clear during the
interview, admitting that he wouldnt have done it and that he thinks the
use of chairs themselves is outdated.

I think the chairs have run their course to be honest with you, Ross said.
The chair shot back in the day, the chairs were there as usable objects
because we are sitting on them. The ringside fans and the studio audience
were sitting on them. Those steel chairs and folding chairs were everywhere because they were handy, easy to stack, cheap, easy & inexpensive staging.
Now, then nobody sits on a steel metal folding chair. Theyre all locked up
on ringside. Usually nicer chairs. And the announcers dont sit on folding chairs. Maybe the timekeeper does, I dont know. Its a work that its such an expose. Another thing, the boys know, if theyre gonna use the chair they
gotta assume the doggy-style position. Theyre on all fours waiting to get
hit in the back. And I cant recall ever in the last many years that a chair shot to the back has beaten a single soul.

So, why are we doing it? Im not bhing about our creative. It was edgy. It
was out there. In hindsight I wouldnt have done it. But it happened and we
[the announcers]called it the best we could. But I think the chairs are
kinda like the authority figures I think theyve kinda run their course.
Unless somebody can figure out a way to make them more innovative and
current, Id say lets table that stuff. No pun intended Bubba. Lets get rid
of those chairs for a while.

down a challenge to Bray Wyatt ahead of his highly anticipated return to
WWE.

Lashley responded to a fan on social media who was claiming the Eater Of
Worlds was a better heavyweight than him and the ex-Intercontinental
Champion responded, challenging Wyatt to a match whenever he is done
playing with his puppets.

WWE Cancels Upcoming International House Show Events

WWE has announced that they have cancelled several upcoming house shows in Italy later this year, following on from changes to its UK schedule.

WWE has cancelled the two live events scheduled to take place in Italy this coming November on Sunday, November 3 in Florence and Monday, and November
4 in Milan.

The official reason for the cancellation given by the local promoters is a scheduling conflict in the WWE tour. It was noted that they hope to
announce future WWE dates for Italy soon.

These cancellations come shortly after WWE cancelled the November 5 event
in Nottingham, the November 6 event in Birmingham, the November 8 date in London, and the November 9 in Minehead.

It is expected that the reason behind these decisions is that WWE is
planning another show in Saudi Arabia at some point around this time,
meaning the roster will be unavailable to tour Europe fully, as they
normally do each year.

Dalton Castle Comments On Ring Of Honor Losing "Core" Roster Members

Ring Of Honor star, Dalton Castle recently spoke with WrestleZones, Kevin Kellam where he addressed the company losing core roster members.

“You got to be out of your mind to think Ring Of Honor is at risk right now,” Castle exclaimed. “I’ve only been with the company for about five years, and already I feel like I’ve lived through three of these—where people are like ‘Oh no, they’ve lost those big core members, however will they survive?’ We’re gonna be just fine. Ring Of Honor has been around for 16 years and we’ve done this again and again, and we continue turning out
the best product we possibly can, the greatest wrestling in the world.”

Castle went on to explain how ROH will always be home for him:

“[…] what makes me happy is succeeding and being with Ring Of Honor, I know what makes them happy is a peacock with some muscles putting on a
performance of a lifetime. So I’m proud to be here at the moment, and I don’t think I can speak for the entire locker room, but I’ll speak for myself right now: Not worried.””
